Though the COVID-19 pandemic had brought a halt in the wedding plans of a lot of couples, but with the massive vaccination drive, things are getting back to normal. Though restrictions still persist on the number of guests that can be invited, many couples are getting married, who had delayed their wedding due to the pandemic. Not only that, couples are trying their best to bring out something unique within their minimal wedding, that would fulfil the void of not having a big fat Indian wedding.
Though destination weddings are not a new concept and many couples have often opted for it. But provided the times we are in, getting to choose a destination wedding, after months of staying locked in our homes is something that every bride and groom would look forward to. Besides having a destination wedding, flaunting an outfit and jewellery of her choice is something that every would-be bride looks forward to as the D-day comes nearby.

For her wedding, our bride, Mannat Bindra, who is a professional makeup artist, based in New Delhi, tied the knot with the love of her life, Harmeet. The couple chose to have a destination wedding by the beach as they opted for Goa as the perfect place for their wedding. Our dil se Punjabi jodi, had an Anand Karaj ceremony at The Leela, Goa. The essence of getting married in the coastal area is something that is unmissable and the duo enjoyed it to the fullest!
Being a Punjaban, Mannat chose to flaunt a gharara suit at her Anand Karaj wedding ceremony and ditched the conventional lehenga or a patiala suit. Pastels are very much in fashion. Therefore, our bride of the week chose a mint green and peach colour combination gharara set for her D-Day. One unique feature of a gharara is that it comes with a pair of wide-legged pants, ruched at the knee. Thereby, making them flare out dramatically. Her kurta and pants had intricate embroidered designs with zari and zardozi work. The peach coloured dupatta was full of embroidery work too.

Mannat Bindra had completed her look by accessorising her outfit with a mang teeka, kundan earrings and a necklace set. The jewellery complemented her outfit very well. For the makeup, she chose to play with nude shades as she had worn a nude lip shade, brown glittery eyeshadow and eyelashes. Her prince charming made sure to compete with her in terms of his outfit and twinned with her in a peach sherwani. With a turban on his head and sword in his hand, the groom exuded pure Punjabi munda vibes.

Every girl dreams to have a fairytale love story. And what could be better than having a life partner, who loves her endlessly? Our bride, Mannat and her then-would be husband, Harmeet's pictures from their pre-wedding photoshoot speak volumes about their love for each other. While Mannat had worn a pink one-piece dress, Harmeet had donned a white shirt and jeans. To add to the beauty of the pictures, he had popped the million-dollar question to her as he had gone down on his knees to slide a ring into her finger.
