For instance, recent reports suggested that Arjun and Malaika have parted ways peacefully, thereby ending their long-standing relationship of more than five years. On May 31, 2024, a report by Pinkvilla claimed that a source close to Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor and stated that the couple have parted ways. The source remarked how their relationship ran its due course, and the duo have called it quits in a dignified manner. While the news spread like wildfire within split seconds, it seems that it was not true. Recently, a report by India Today shared that Malaika Arora’s manager has rubbished all such conjectures. The latter can be quoted as:
“No no, all rumours."

The earlier speculations about Malaika and Arjun’s alleged breakup suggested that that the duo had a fruitful relationship for so long, and their relationship coming to an end doesn’t mean that they would be cold to one another. Instead, Malaika and Arjun would continue the same amount of respect for one another. Adding how they wont be public about their breakup and sought privacy, the report suggested:
“They had a long, loving, fruitful relationship that has unfortunately run its course now. That doesn’t mean there is any bad blood between them. They respect each other hugely and have been a pillar of strength for each other. Over the years, they have given their relationship a lot of respect. They will continue to give each other the same respect despite them deciding to part ways. Both of them were in a serious relationship for years, and they expect people to be gracious enough to give them space at this emotional time.”
Soon after news headlines buzzed with speculations about Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora’s alleged breakup, the latter took to her IG stories and shared a cryptic note carrying a deep meaning. Malaika’s post expressed how the person who love us are truly the greatest treasure one can have. The note can be further read as:
“The greatest treasure on earth are the people who love and support us. They cannot be bought or replaced, and each of us has only a few of them.”

Previously, during a fun interaction with Farah Khan on the show, Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 11, Malaika Arora was quizzed by the former to spill beans on her plans of wedding. Well, since the actress has been dating Arjun Kapoor for quite some time now, she has frequently been at the helm of curiosity on her marriage plans. In her response, Malaika sassily claimed that she felt ‘once bitten twice very shy’.
