The personal lives of celebrities always keep their fans on their edge, and even a tiny snippet about it unveils a host of judgements, suggestions and comments about them. Unfortunately, while the nuptials of a celebrity bring in more happiness and well-wishes from the audiences, it is their separation which demotivates the audiences to an extent that they start to troll and pass mean reactions about this decision. One such couple of the Bollywood industry has been of Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora.
The two met at work and it soon became a case of love-at-first-sight. Thereafter, the duo got married on December 12, 1998, and was blessed with a son in the year 2002. However, this fairy-tale love story came to an unfortunate end when the couple announced divorce on May 11, 2017. While the decision seemed a mutual and amicable one, the reasons were cited to be personal. Since then, the duo has been responsible co-parents for their 18-year-old son, Arhaan.

Both Arbaaz and Malaika have visibly moved on in their lives, and instead have focussed on their respective work and career. For instance, taking to her social media handle, Malaika recently announced to host her own show, Moving In With Malaika. And according to the latest reports, among other celebrity guests, Malaika has agreed on inviting her ex-husband, Arbaaz on her show. This would be the first time that the ex-couple would be seen coming together for a project, after their divorce.
Unlike some of the other celebrity couples, who chose to get separated from one another, both Malaika and Arbaaz have been quite open about their friendly relations with each other, even after divorce. While they may have separated as a couple, they are still the parents of their only son, Arhaan. In an interview, Arbaaz opened up about facing the brunt of trolling after divorce with Malaika, and how he dealt with it. In his words:
“They're just two people who've realised that the reason they were together was to make... The journey had to be wonderful and beautiful together. Sometimes you have different paths, you grow to be different people. You have to let them grow and be happy. So, we never got affected; I never got affected by comments on my personal life, particularly on my relationship. Of course, I feel they were all unnecessary at time, quite a few of them, but one had to ignore it and move on."

For the unversed, Malaika announced the onset of her new show by sharing a picture of herself in an all-black outfit. However, it was her caption to the post which sent the entire fan base into a frenzy. They began to speculate if she said 'Yes' to her beau, Arjun Kapoor's marriage proposal. Her caption could be read as:
“I said YES”
We can't wait to see the premiere of Malaika’s new show!
