Malaika Arora has been in the news for one reason or another, be it for her item numbers or for her gym spotting. The diva knows how to keep millions of her fans on their toes. However, recently, Malaika has been garnering a lot of controversy for her food choices. In 2020, Malaika announced that she was turning vegan and even dressed up as a cabbage to prove the same, but now the actress is repeatedly spotted eating non-vegetarian items.
For the unversed, Malaika is also a PETA brand ambassador and often voices her opinion on animal cruelty and how one should refrain from indulging in it. So gauge the netizens' annoyance when the spotted Malaika enjoys non-vegetarian delicacies and unabashedly shares a video of the same.

Farah Khan shared a video on her official Instagram account of the last grand lunch from Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11 sets. In there, Farah asked Malaika what she brought for lunch, to which Malaika revealed that she got all vegetarian recipes like curry, aloo gobi, methi paratha and gajar ka halwa. She emphasised on the fact that she got all vegetarian items.
Arshad Warsi then supports Malaika and adds that she was vegetarian five years ago, to which Malla responds that she was 18 many years ago, indirectly hinting that things change over time. The other cast members of JDK 11 also brought a lot of food, which they all shared among themselves.

Netizens were impressed with Malaika Arora's hypocrisy. According to them, even if she is a non-vegetarian, she should come clean about it and stop pretending and leading a dual life. Many also alleged that this video was an attempt to whitewash Malaika's image.
