Ever since Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor made their appearance together at the Lakme Fashion Week 2018, the couple doesn’t shy away anymore from getting snapped at parties, vacations and lunch/dinner dates. And the hearsay around their ‘not-so-alleged-anymore’ relationship had been grabbing a lot of momentum over the past couple of months. While Malaika and Arjun have neither denied nor accepted their relationship and have been feeding people’s curiosity thus far, but they have, time and again, dismissed the rumours regarding their impending wedding. Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora’s fans believe that their marriage reports are not just the hottest new rumour in the tinsel town, but they are actually walking down the aisle and the date is set, but their statements regarding the same suggest a different story altogether. A source close to the couple had confirmed that Arjun and Malaika will make it official with an intimate church wedding on April 19, 2019. The report could be read as, “Our well-placed source spills the beans that Malla will walk down the aisle on April 19. The invitees list will, of course, have to-be-bride and groom’s close friend circle like Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor and their Bandra girl gang, with whom the couple usually hangs out. We also hear that Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are also on the guest list.”
As per the latest Pinkvilla report, Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora will exchange wedding vows between April 18-22, 2019, and their union will take place in Goa. When asked if she is getting married according to Hindu and Christian rituals in Goa this April, the 45-year-old star refuted such speculations to the Bombay Times, “There is no truth to these silly speculations.”
Sometime back, Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor have dismissed their wedding conjectures, but the speculations just don’t seem to fade away. And as it is rightly said, there’s no smoke without fire, fans are eagerly waiting to see Malaika and Arjun as bride and groom. Arjun’s father, Boney Kapoor has finally opened up about the wedding conjectures surrounding his son. In an interview with Amar Ujala, Boney Kapoor said, "There's no truth to these rumours."
On April 12, 2019, Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor were spotted stepping out of a hospital and unlike their usual outings, they didn’t pose or wave for the shutterbugs. While Malaika was spotted in comfy white pants and a pink t-shirt, Arjun too wore a casual white t-shirt and black pants. On Kareena Kapoor Khan’s radio talk show, What Women Want, Malaika Arora spoke candidly about how her family supported her through the divorce and how she believes that a child should grow in a happy environment. In an interview with Anupama Chopra on Film Companion, Malaika Arora reacted on her church wedding with Arjun Kapoor, and had said, "Oh God! No No. It's all media made. Media is responsible for it.” Speaking about giving love a second chance, Malaika had continued, "I guess everyone wants to move on and find love and companionship with people they can relate to. And if you do, I think you are just lucky. If you can do that, I think you are lucky to find that second chance at being happy.”
After Malaika Arora, Arjun Kapoor too had clarified the rumours of their impending marriage and had shared in an interview with IANS, “When there is something to talk about, you will all know.” He had further added, “It’s your choice how much you put out there or yourself and your availability. Today you have a lot of control over as to how much you want people to know about your life. Speculation and gossip is a part of it. I am not the first actor or the last.
