From dancing on a train with Shah Rukh Khan on the song, Chaiyya Chaiyya to sharing the screen with the Dabangg actor, Salman Khan in Munni Badnaam Hui, Malaika Arora has made a name for herself in Bollywood. She is a self-made woman, who is often spotted setting new fitness goals, stunning her fans with enchanting looks, and occasionally appearing as a reality show judge. However, the whole world came crashing down for Malaika when she had decided to end her 19 year-long marriage with her then-husband, Arbaaz Khan, in 2017.
For the unversed, Malaika had tied the knot with actor-director-producer, Arbaaz Khan in December 1998. The couple had embraced parenthood in 2002 as they had welcomed a baby boy, Arhaan Khan, into their lives. Later, owing to some problems, the couple had decided to part ways in 2017. Since then, the actress has been a single-working mother to Arhaan and shares a beautiful bond with him. As Arhaan studies abroad, the ex-couple, Malaika and Arbaaz, always long to meet their child.

"When I took that decision or that step to be a single mother, I didn't (pause). At that point, you always feel that the whole world is crashing on your head and how you gonna manage I think that's a very normal human reaction. But having said that I also knew that it is something I have to take on. I have to be responsible. I have a son, he is growing up, he needs me more than ever. I have to be that right example. I have to be able to steer him in the right direction and at the same time let him make his own mistakes."

Further in the interview, Malaika had revealed that she was vulnerable yet had recognized her responsibilities of raising a child as a single mother. She had revealed:
"Yes, I did feel scared, vulnerable, frightened, all of those emotions. But I also felt that I had to take one day at a time. I couldn't take giant leaps because that is just not possible. I had to see what every day would unfold for me. At that point, the only thinking about I needs to be, not if I am a single mother but I need to be a working single mother. For me, that was more important."
For the uninitiated, Malaika had found love in the arms of actor, Arjun Kapoor, and they had made their relationship official in 2019. However, the duo often faces trolls for their 12 year age gap. In an interview with Hindustan Times, Arjun had opened up about how the duo had supported each other in difficult times. He had also praised his girlfriend, Malaika and had said being with her had always felt like the 'right thing' for him. Arjun could be quoted as saying:
"We stood by each other through this relationship, facing speculation, facing brickbats, facing chatter, unnecessary at times, because of social media toxicity. It was hell for us for many days. She had to face so much because of the fact that we came out in the open, but I admire her for giving me and our relationship so much dignity. Standing by Malaika never felt like it's something extraordinary. It felt just the right thing, the most natural thing to do."
We are so happy to see the reunion of the mother-son duo. What about you?
