Malaika Arora turned into a stand-up comedian in the fourth episode of her show, Moving In With Malaika. From talking about how people are jealous of her sultry looks, considering she is 49, to addressing her divorce from Arbaaz Khan, Malaika tried to bring up every bit of her personal life to the audience.
However, what came as a surprise was how Malaika made her sister, Amrita Arora her punching bag and took several digs at her looks, career and marriage. On December 9, 2022, the makers of Disney+Hotstar took to their IG handle and uploaded a promo video of the upcoming episode of Moving In With Malaika. In the clip, Malaika said Amrita is the funny one, but she is the pretty one. Moreover, she roasted Amrita's marriage with Shakeel Ladak and said:
“My sister’s in the house! She’s the funny one. I’m the pretty one. She has a rich husband, and I am doing standup.”

Malaika did not stop there and went on to roast Amrita Arora’s not-so-successful career in the Hindi cinema. She revealed that before doing comedy, she consulted her mom, Joyce and asked for her permission. She said:
“My mother said ‘If we can sit through Amrita’s debut movie Kitne Door Kitne Paas, we can surely sit at your stand-up for 20 minutes.”
Before starting her stand-up comedy, Malaika had addressed the most-talked-about topic in the B-Town, which is her age. She mentioned how people are jealous of how attractive she looks, even at the age of 49. In her words:
“Welcome to my stand-up comedy extravaganza! People are obsessed with my age. Not because I am old. It is because I look like this while I am ageing. So jealous people.”

However, it seems like Malaika’s attempt to make people laugh didn’t go well with the netizens as they didn’t find her show funny. Taking to the video's comment section, one user wrote, “Movie nehi hai to business kar le bahen, comedy try mat karo. Rona ata h!” Another one commented, “This was supposed to be comedy? Okay I'II force myself to laugh.”
