Arjun Kapoor turned a year older on June 26, 2024, and hosted an intimate midnight birthday bash at his home. The actor was joined by his close friends and family members on the special occasion, but Malaika Arora's absence didn't go unnoticed. The loving girlfriend, who never missed a chance to shower love on Arjun, raised many eyebrows as she missed his special day. Needless to say, she further fuelled breakup rumours by not being a part of Arjun Kapoor's midnight birthday bash.

Talking about the attendees at the bash, the paps spotted Arjun Kapoor’s cousins, Janhvi Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor and Mohit Marwah, arriving at the actor’s Juhu residence around midnight. Arjun's uncle, Sanjay Kapoor and his wife, Maheep Kapoor, also marked their presence. His No Entry 2 co-star, Varun Dhawan and his wife, Natasha Dalal, also joined the celebration, and Aditya Roy Kapur arrived solo to wish his close friend.
Earlier, in a report by Pinkvilla, a source close to Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor revealed that troubles have cropped up in the couple's relationship and they have decided to part ways in a dignified manner. The source further mentioned that the duo had a long and fruitful relationship, which is unfortunately over now, but they do not have any bad blood between them. Malaika and Arjun would continue to share the same respect for each other even after parting ways, and they want people to give them space to deal with the emotional moment. The duo respects each other hugely and will continue to be each other's pillars of strength despite them deciding to part ways.

A few days back, Malaika Arora was papped out and about in the city amid her breakup buzz with Arjun Kapoor. She opted for a white-hued floral-printed co-ord set, including a shirt and shorts, which she teamed with a white-hued tube top. Soft makeup, messy bun hairdo, a pair of black boots, and classy glasses completed her look. However, it was worth mentioning that the actress looked unfazed about the ongoing speculations about her and Arjun's separation and happily greeted the paps.
