Malaika Arora and Arbaaz Khan were among Bollywood's most sought-after couples. The duo was madly in love, and people thought they would forever be together, but their relationship did not stand the test of time. In May 2017, the duo got divorced and embarked on a solo journey. Malaika started dating actor, Arjun Kapoor, and Arbaaz Khan first dated model, Giorgia Andriani but then parted ways with her and married Sshura Khan in December 2023.
Malaika Arora and Arbaaz Kahn welcomed their son, Arhaan, into the world in November 2002. After the couple's divorce, they decided to co-parent him so that he did not feel the absence of any parent. Malaika added that inculcating values in Arhaan was their main aim. Malaika further added:
"For whatever it's worth, touch wood, we've found a great balance now. Perhaps initially it was a little tricky. And rightly so — because that's just how life is. We both knew that irrespective of everything else and what may have transpired between two adults, it should never reflect on a child — and we have figured out a very congenial way of co-parenting."

Malaika added that co-parenting their son, Arhaan, with Arbaaz Khan was a little tricky, but the duo were adamant that they would teach good values to Arhaan. They ensured that Arhaan understood that he needed to make it on his own and that his parents were always there to support him, but he should be independent. In Malaika's words:
"Most importantly, I wanted Arhaan to have respect for others and a sense of being able to do things on his own without relying on his privileges. We've always told him that he needs to make i on his own, even though we're always there for him to fall back on. To be independent in his thinking, financially and emotionally too… It's very easy for privileged children to assume their parents will always take care of everything. No, you've got to do it on your own..."
Malaika Arora is recently in the news for her alleged breakup with Arjun Kapoor. The duo have been dating for years, but recently, rumour mills suggested that the duo have parted ways, and it made all the more sense when Malika skipped Arjun's birthday party on June 26, 2024. However, none of the two have officially announced their split.

On the other hand, Arbaaz Khan is now happily married to celebrity makeup artist, Sshura Khan. The duo has a 25-year age gap but is madly in love and never lets the age difference hinder their relationship. On December 24, 2024, the duo tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in the presence of only their friends and family. Arhaan, too, attended his father's second wedding.
