In the videos, we could see Anil Mehta's banners, which were decked in heart-shaped garlands. It's an utterly heartbreaking glimpse, as he was only 64 years old. For the unversed, Anil Mehta worked in the Indian Merchant Navy and was a jovial person.

She confirmed the heartbreaking news of her father's demise and revealed that their entire family is in utter shock and saddened by the situation. She asked her fans to give them privacy in this testing time and revealed how her dad was her best friend, a loving husband, and a devoted grandfather.
It was on September 10, 2024, when both Malaika Arora and Amrita Arora arrived at their parents' home in Bandra. Amrita even looked up the balcony and bid bye to her parents, little did she know, that her dad would jump off the same balcony, a day later. Malaika was reportedly in Pune, and she rushed to her parents' house after such an incident took place.

Several reports have claimed that Anil Mehta had suffered from depression, and he even was admitted to the hospital back in 2023, for some unknown reason. As per a source, the investigation into this information is underway, and police have been recording statements of family members and doctors as of now. On the other hand, Anil's postmortem report indicated no foul play in his demise and stated that it was suicide, and several injuries on Anil Mehta's head were the main reason for his death.
Joyce Polycarp, in her recorded statement to police, has revealed that although she and Anil were separated, they had been living together for a few years. Talking about what had happened, Joyce shared that she found Anil's slippers in the room, but couldn't see him anywhere. Thus she went to the balcony, and upon leaning from it, she spotted her husband's body on the floor, and heard the watchman shouting for help.
