"Pregnancy is not simple as what you see in movies. It has some worst sides too. I couldn't even take the smell of food in the initial months. I would vomit even when someone cooked in the neighbourhood. Forget that, I would even vomit seeing food pictures. I lost almost 4 kg in a single month. But, it has its blissful side too. Now I look at my belly and wonder 'God, there is a little human inside me'."
Further going in the conversation, the actress mentioned the day when she had got to know about her pregnancy. She shared that they were not expecting kids this soon, but it came as God's blessing, and they are all very excited now. When Mridula was asked why she had quit her show in the midway, the actress replied that quitting the show wasn't on the cards, but she had faced a few complications in her pregnancy which is why her doctors had suggested taking the time off. In her words:
"I was not planning to quit the show at all. Even hubby suggested working till the day I can. But as the shoot progressed, I started going weak. After the first scanning, my doctor suggested taking rest as there was a small complication. So I decided to quit the show. Thankfully, the team was very supportive."
