Manav And Meher Vij's Love Story: Met On Set, Married For 15 Years, Financially Supported Each Other

Several actors find love in the showbiz industry and embark on the beautiful journey of marriage. One such lesser-known couple in the industry is Manav Vij and Meher Vij. Meher is known for her roles in films like Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Secret Superstar, Maharaj among others.

On the other hand, Manav began his career in 2002 and established his identity by starring several films including Udta Punjab, Gunjan Saxena, Laal Singh Chaddha, and Patna Shuklla. Since showbiz is full of ups and downs, the couple has always supported the other. Their love story is nothing short of a dream come true. 

Manav and Meher met on a show's set and soon became friends 

Manav and Meher began their careers around the same time in the early 2000s. They met on the set of the TV show, Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil. Meher said they were initially strangers and used to exchange pleasantries on the set. They soon became friends and bonded well. Gradually, they began to have a meal together at restaurants during breaks. But, they didn't go alone and were often used to take some other crew members with them. However, Meher wanted to marry an honest and pure-at-heart person and found both the qualities in Manav.

Manav married Meher within six months of dating 

Manav decided to marry Meher within the first six months of dating, and the couple tied the knot in 2009. Soon, they resumed work and continued on their journey of prosperity and happiness. In a previous interview with The Tribune, Meher shared that her life has been the same after marriage. They are still good friends and chill together. However, they also have different opinions. Manav said that Meher's great energy helps him deal with the difficult times. The couple admitted that they enjoy watching films, traveling, reading, and gossiping together. 

Manav Vij shared that Meher supported him financially for five years when he didn't have a job

Recently, Manav Vij sat down for an interview with Siddharth Kannan and revealed that Meher supported him financially for five years when he was out of work. The actor shared that she decided to run the house and took 90% of the decisions for him. Further, he credited his wife for the revival of his career. In his words: 

"I have been out of work for 5 years. Meher was running the house. So she used to run the house, ghar chalta tha, I was trying my level best. Aur ye unka decision tha, ab ye sach hai mere 90% decisions voh leti hai. What she told me was, 'This is the thing, and you want to do this, so you will do it.' So I told her, 'I have four other things to do, and if I don't do that, what will we do? She said, 'I will do it.' So she ran the house and said, joh aapko lagta hai ab aap wahi karoge, and then Udta Punjab happened to me.”

Manav and Meher's Instagram feed also proves that they are still in love even after 15 years of marriage. We wish them happiness and love for the future.
