Mandana Karimi Files A Domestic Violence Case Against Husband After 5 Months Of Marriage

In the glam world of Bollywood, marriages are fragile and most of them end in divorces. Here is another Bollywood marriage that might come to an end! This couple tied the knot in January 2017 and their marriage is facing a rough patch.

We are talking about former Bigg Boss contestant Mandana Karimi and her businessman husband, Gaurav Gupta. Yes, this news is equally shocking for us also. The couple got married on January 25, 2017 in a lavish style in Mumbai and now they are living separately.

Mandana has filed a domestic violence case against her husband as the problems they are facing are unavoidable. Mandana started facing problems in her marriage after a few months only as her husband and in-laws were not happy with her profession and wanted her to stop acting as it was “incompatible with his family status in the society”. Gaurav also asked her to convert to Hinduism.

According to a report in Mid-Day, Mandana has filed the case in Andheri magistrate court on July 3, asking for a compensation of Rs. 2 crore for all the mental trauma she has faced in the last few months and the loss of her career. She has also asked for Rs. 10 lakh per month for maintenance, to take care of her basic needs.

She isn’t only unhappy with her husband, but also her in-laws. She has also stated in the petition that her mother-in-law used to harass her and also asked her to leave the house. Ultimately, Gaurav threw her out of the house as she refused to convert her religion and leave her acting career.

Here is what she said about her problems in the petition:

I was thrown out of my matrimonial house seven weeks ago. I made desperate attempts to reconcile with them, but my in-laws didn’t allow me back. Gaurav has cut me off.
