Being broken and giving up is one thing, and being broken and still fighting the battle of your life with all the strength is another. Mandira Bedi belongs to the latter category as, despite the hardship, the actress is not stopping at all. She is facing the biggest trauma of her life head-on, breaking the gender stereotype and proving to be the epitome of women empowerment. On her late husband, Raj Kaushal’s one month death anniversary, Mandira along with their kids, Vir and Tara performed a hawan at their home.
For the unversed, Mandira Bedi’s husband, Raj Kaushal had breathed his last on June 30, 2021. Mandira and Raj had known each other for 25 long years and despite the pain, the actress has only shown her brave side yet. In an interview, his friend, Sulaiman Merchant had recalled that Raj had informed Mandira about having a heart attack on that very day around 4 am. However, before she could take him to the hospital, he had already left everyone.

It's been one month since Raj Kaushal's demise, and to mark this day, his wife, Mandira Bedi performed a hawan at their home with their kids, Vir Kaushal and Tara Bedi Kaushal. On her IG stories, Mandira shared a picture from the same, where she can be seen performing the hawan wearing a black and white suit. Her daughter, Tara can be seen sitting adjacent to her, while Vir sat next to her, performing the hawan. One look at Mandira and her pain can be felt. Atop the picture, Mandira wrote, “#30thday”, followed by joining hands emoticon.
Mandira is trying to get back to her life and ensuring that her kids don’t miss out on their special occasions. On July 28, 2021, Mandira had celebrated one year of her daughter, Tara’s arrival at their home. Sharing some beautiful memories, Mandira had written, "28th July! One year today since you came into our lives, sweet sweet Tara... And so we celebrate you today… it’s your 5th birthday my baby. I love you so much #beginagain."

The hands-on mommy, Mandira had taken to her IG stories and had shared pictures from Tara's birthday celebration at their home. Mandira had posted a picture with Tara, with balloons in the backdrop and had written, "My little girl wasn't denied her first birthday celebration in our home" atop it. She had also posted a picture of Vir with fairy lights as he had decorated their house for his baby sister and had written, "On his little sis's birthday."
A few days back, Mandira Bedi had shared her will to restart her life. Taking to her IG handle, Mandira had shared a picture of the note she had written for herself and had captioned it as “Time to #beginagain. My #dailyaffirmation.” The note could be read as “I am worthy. I am capable. I am loved. I am strong…”
May God give strength to Mandira and her kids to deal with the loss!
