Indian weddings are full of surprises. From the bride experimenting with colours, family enjoying memorable rasams to the unique way in which a couple chooses to carry out the wedding tradition, desi marriages are worth the hype, and rightfully so. Besides the food being the highlight, the bride and groom’s designer outfits steal the show.
When it comes to understanding the vision of the would-be brides, their expectations and innovative ideas, celebrity designer, Manish Malhotra is second to none. He has become one of the most loved designers in India, and it's a dream of many girls to wear a lehenga from Manish Malhotra’s couture. Our bride of the week, Ishitta Chowdhary, knocked on the doors of the same designer when she visioned wearing a black lehenga on her mehendi. Not only this, Ishitta stunned everyone by ditching red and pink hues as she opted for a brown-coloured Falguni Shane Peacock lehenga for her wedding. Check out!

Ishitta donned a minimal black choli paired with a skirt, which was adorned with golden patterns and sequin work. The gorgeousness wore diamond jewellery and ditched the dupatta. Subtle makeup and open tresses completed her fuss-free mehendi look.
For her D-Day, Ishitta donned a customised brown-coloured lehenga from Falguni Shane Peacock’s bridal couture. Her choli and lehenga were embellished with zari work. She neatly placed her sheer dupatta at the crown area of her head. The bride accessorised her look with a gold choker set, chandelier earrings, minimal matha patti, a nath, kaleeras, hath phool and red chooda.
In addition, she opted for a tiny bindi and a neatly tied bun. On the other hand, her groom, Magun Trehan, looked equally dashing in an ivory ensemble.

The then would-be bride, Ishitta, had worn a red salwar suit on her haldi because she was not wearing the colour red on her wedding day but wanted to wear this magnificent hue during her wedding festivities. She paired her suit with a dupatta, which had a red and yellow ombre effect on it. She looked pretty in a statement maang teeka and parandi. Her groom was seen twinning with her in the same coloured kurta-pyjama.
We love the bride’s Manish Malhotra black mehendi outfit. What about you? Let us know.
