American actress-turned-singer, Jennifer Lopez, a.k.a. JLo, celebrated her 55th birthday on July 24, 2024. The singer, who is known for her extravagance, left everyone stunned with her Bridgerton-inspired birthday celebrations. It was not just the decor, JLo also opted for a Regency-era-themed outfit for the bash.
On July 25, 2024, the popular Indian designer, Manish Malhotra, took to his Instagram account to reveal that he had designed Jennifer's Bridgerton-theme gown. In the note that he penned alongside a few glimpses of the American actress, Manish mentioned that 40 artists took over 3,490 hours to make the custom couture for her.

The dress, comprising a corset bodice and Victorian skirt, featured a floral motif moulded by hand from sequins and adorned with over half a million crystals. Manish Malhotra further mentioned that petal and ring-shaped sequins were treated to preserve their colour. Jennifer accessorised her look with minimal jewellery and sheer gloves and opted for a dramatic bun to accentuate the beauty of her outfit. Sharing the pictures, Manish Malhotra said:
"An honor to Dress the Iconic @jlo for her Birthday with the fun The BRIDGETON Theme party .. Custom Couture .. Corset, and the Victorian Skirt with Vintage Brocade. Crafted by 40 artisans over 3,490 hours, the corset and Victorian skirt features a floral motif moulded by hand from sequins and over half a million crystals. Petal and ring-shaped metal sequins were especially treated to preserve their hue to craft this ensemble, a celebration of intricate artistry and Indian craftsmanship."
Earlier, JLo dropped a video from her Bridgerton-themed birthday party. In the montage of special glimpses from her celebrations, all the guests were seen donning Regency-era-inspired outfits. The venue was decorated with ornate details and rich colour palettes with a striking resemblance to that of the world of Ton. Sharing the short video, JLo penned:
"Dearest Gentle Reader…And a splendid evening was had by all."
