While Manu Bhaker won a bronze each in the women's 10m air pistol and 10m air pistol mixed team event, the javelin thrower, Neeraj Chopra, bagged a silver medal, and both of them were tagged as our heroes. Well, a video of Neeraj with Manu Bhaker's mom went viral online, and netizens started shipping the duo together, and soon the speculation began. Now, Manu broke the silence about the same.
In a recent interview with News 18, Manu Bhaker was asked about the viral video of her mom talking to Neeraj Chopra, which caused speculation about the two players' possible future relationship. She shared that she had no idea about what conversation took place between her mom and Neeraj.

The shooter further added that she has been meeting Neeraj since 2018, in several events and competitions. Manu further shared that she and Neeraj don't talk much, but when they bump into one another at several events, they surely have a little bit of conversation. Manu Bhaker can be quoted as saying:
"Baat toh mujhe jyada nahi pata kyun ki mein us samay par vaha nahi this. Par, 2018 see milte aaye hai kisi events hai aur phir competitions mein toh vaise jyada baat cheet nahi hoti hai. Par events jab milte hai toh baat hoti hai thodi baat hoti hai. Toh vahi hai thoda bohat ho jaata hai kabhi kabhi. Aise kuch nahi Joh sunne mein aa raha."
Soon after Neeraj Chopra and Manu Bhaker's mom's video surfaced online, netizens started shipping the two Olympic winners. After this happened, Manu Bhaker's father reacted to the same. He said that Manu is still very young, and she is not even of a marriageable age, and they are not even thinking about it right now. Manu Bhaker's father added that his wife considers Neeraj Chopra to be her son. Neeraj Chopra's uncle said just as the javelin thrower got the medal and the whole country got to know about the same, similarly, when he would marry, everyone would surely be aware of the same.
