Sobhita Dhulipala and Naga Chaitanya are set to tie the knot on December 4, 2024, at the Annapurna Studios, owned by actor Nagarjuna Akkineni, Naga Chaitanya’s father. The duo got engaged in August 2024, and since then, their fans have eagerly waited for the couple’s union. For the uninitiated, before marrying Sobhita, Naga Chaitanya was married to popular actress, Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
However, after three years of marital bliss, the couple announced their separation in 2021. As Chaitanya and Sobhita are all set to begin their forever journey, the couple had many pre-wedding rituals. But what caught netizens' eyes is that just like Chaitanya, Sobhita, too, has a Samanta in her life.
Yes, and the Samanta in question is none other than the actress’ younger sister, Samanta Dhulipala. Let us read on to know more about Sobhita’s sister and Naga Chaitanya’s sister-in-law, Samanta Dhulipala.
Sobhita Dhulipala is a popular name in the glamour world. But like Sobhita, Samanta is from a completely different profession. Samanta is a doctor based in Delhi and did her specialisation in Radiology. She works as an attending consultant with Max Healthcare and specialises in Foetal Medicine and Radiology.
Samanta pursued her MBBS at Dr. D.Y. Patil Medical College, Hospital and Research Centre, Pune, in 2019. After completing her MBBS, she did her MD in Radio diagnosis from the same college in 2022, which was followed up by a few fellowships at the University of Barcelona and the Royal College of Radiologists.

Samanta Dhulipala is married to Sahil Gupta, a neurologist by profession. They got married in April 2023 as per traditional South Indian ceremonies. The then-bride looked gorgeous in a white-hued saree with a broad red and golden border. Donning a waist belt, she accessorised her look with unique gold and stone-studded jewellery.
For her sister's wedding, Sobhita Dhulipala was seen decked up in a pink-hued silk saree paired with a matching blouse. With gold buti prints throughout, the six yards exuded pure elegance. To complement her outfit, the actress opted for heavy jewellery and tied her hair in a bun. Sobhita looked regal as she accessorised her look with a choker neckpiece, matching jhumkas, a long neckpiece and a maang teeka.
Ahead of Chaitanya and Sobhita’s grand wedding, the couple had their traditional haldi and mangal snanam ceremony, and photos from the same event went viral. Taking to her Instagram account a while back, Sobhita's sister, Samanta, shared a carousel of pictures from the diva's haldi ceremony. The sisters twinned in yellow, and Samanta was seen applying haldi ubtan on her sister. She captioned the pictures as 'healthy' with a yellow heart emoticon.
Samanta also showered love on her elder sister, Sobhita, by penning an adorable note for her. Taking to her IG handle, Samanta shared pictures from Sobhita's Pelli Kuthuru ceremony. In the pictures, Sobhita looked stunning in a red-coloured butti print silk saree, which she complemented with matching traditional jewellery.
On the other hand, Samanta wore a peach-coloured silk saree with gold jewellery. Posting an array of pictures from Sobhita’s pelli kuthuru ceremony, which also featured an adorable family picture, Samanta penned:
“Cheers to the most beautiful pelli kuthuru and the most affectionate person ever. Only love for you akka. #SoChay."
