Yes, just a few days before Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala's grand wedding, Akhil Akkineni surprised his fans with his engagement announcement. Nagarjuna announced the engagement of his son, Akhil Akkineni, to an artist named Zainab Ravdjee on November 26, 2024.
Akhil Akkineni shared a carousel of photos announcing engagement with Zainab Ravdjee. However, he turned off the comment section of the post. This intrigued many fans, and on digging, we found out that Akhil turned off comments for two main reasons: due to Zainab's different faith and the latter being almost a decade older than Akhil.

Zainab is the daughter of industrialist, Zulfi Ravdjee, a prominent figure of artistic prowess and construction industry. Her brother, Zain Ravdjee, is the Chairman and Managing Director of ZR Renewable Energy Pvt Ltd. Zainab's artistic journey is a testament to her dedication and talent. Not much is known about Zainab and Akhil's love story, but as per multiple reports, the duo met a couple of years ago and started dating soon after. Not many know that Akhil Akkineni was earlier engaged to Shriya Bhupal, the granddaughter of business tycoon, G.V. Krishna Reddy. The couple's wedding date was fixed in 2017, but the marriage was called off, and the reason was never made public. Akhil's current partner, Zainab Ravdjee, is an artist known for her vibrant and abstract paintings. Akhil Akkineni's elder brother, Naga Chaitanya, is planning to get married in December, 2024.
Announcing his engagement, Akhil Akkineni shared a visual treat on his Instagram. The couple, dressed in pristine white, looked like a vision of love. Akhil, dapper in a crisp white shirt and matching pants, and Zainab, elegant in a flowing white maxi dress, made for a stunning sight.
Subtle makeup, perfectly lined eyes and pink lipstick completed her look. The bride-to-be opted for an open side-parted hairstyle. In the first picture, Akhil and Zainab held each other's hands, and the breathtaking view of the setting sun with lush greenery left us in awe. Sharing the good news, Akhil wrote:

Nagarjuna made sure to give a warm welcome to his soon-to-be second daughter-in-law, Zainab. Taking to his X handle, he penned a note and announced his son, Akhil's engagement. He welcomed Zainab into the family and congratulated the new couple. He wrote:
