Born on December 14, 1984, Ramanaidu "Rana" Daggubati is a celebrated actor of the Indian film industry, working primarily in Telugu movies. Rana is a part of the prominent Daggubati-Akkineni family as his father, D. Suresh Babu is a renowned Telugu film producer, his paternal grandfather, D. Ramanaidu was a Telugu film producer, and his paternal uncle, Daggubati Venkatesh and cousin, Naga Chaitanya are also actors. It was more than a decade ago, in 2010, when Rana had made his acting debut with the Telugu film, Leader and since then, there has been no looking back for the actor. Rana made his Bollywood debut in 2011 with the film, Dum Maaro Dum but it was his iconic character Bhallaladeva in SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali franchise that had left a huge and significant impact on the audiences. Rana had ruled the headlines in 2020 for his one-of-a-kind lockdown wedding in Hyderabad with his sweetheart, Miheeka Bajaj. Rana had broken millions of hearts when he had made a ‘she said yes’ announcement by posting a picture with Miheeka. Finally, on August 8, 2020, Miheeka and Rana were pronounced husband and wife, and even today, after months of their marriage, the breathtakingly beautiful wedding pictures and videos can make our hearts melt with love and admiration.
Rana Daggubati completed 11 years in the Indian film industry as an actor and to mark this special moment, his wife, Miheeka Bajaj praised him for his contribution to the cinema. Miheeka posted a picture of Rana on her IG stories and wrote, “Happy 11 years my darling @ranadaggubati” atop it. Sharing a video of Rana’s journey in the industry, Miheeka wrote, “Your passion, your determination, your resilience, your need to give your 100% to everything you do in life is what makes you the amazing man you are. Always inspiring, always creating, always dreaming and yet so humble! A real-life superhero not just on tabloid! Taking everything that life throws your way in the most unique and positive outlook! Now that Miheeka Bajaj and Rana Daggubati have embarked on their journey of spending a lifetime together, the lovebirds had gotten a beautiful piece of artwork to mark the ‘togetherness’ in their relationship. Creating a memory of a lifetime, Rana and Miheeka got their hand impression cast by the lifecasting artist, Bhavna Jasra. Bhavna had posted pictures with Rana and Miheeka, and the beautiful piece of artwork that will enhance their home with the vibe of love and togetherness. In one of the pictures, Rana, Miheeka and Bhavna could be seen posing with their masks on. Bhavna had captioned the pictures as “Rana Daggubati & Miheeka looked like the perfect match made in heaven when we met them to cast their impressions. As the couple had stepped into 2021 as husband and wife, Miheeka Bajaj had posted a twinning-in-black picture with Rana Daggubati. Thanking 2020 for bringing in love, luck and oodles of happiness to them, Miheeka had captioned her post as “A very happy new year to everyone!! 2020 brought us luck, love and oodles of happiness! Contrary to popular opinions 2020 has been the best year of my life! Thank you @ranadaggubati my love! Only upwards and on wards from here! May this year bring everyone just as much light and life it has brought us! It’s the new year!!!”
In a throwback interview with the IANS, Rana Daggubati had proudly spoken about how his career graph is filled with diverse projects. He had said, "I didn't set out to be a regular hero. My mantra has always been, 'Give me something new and I'll do it with all my heart'. That is what I truly believe and look for in every project. I truly believe that cinema is a collaborative effort and as long as I get to tell, and be part of, interesting stories, and work with genuine people, I don't see any project as a 'risk'."
