Weddings always have a special place in the hearts of the brides, and if you are born in India, it becomes an extravagant affair. The most difficult task for the bride and her family is to decide the outfits for the wedding. You don’t want to look common; you don’t want to match with someone, and you want to be remembered as the most beautiful bride in your family history.
We all grew up listening that red is the perfect shade to wear on the auspicious day of one's wedding. Today, brides are making sure to ditch red and go for a colour of their choice. Recently, many celebrity brides were spotted wearing pastel hues, which gave an inspiration to many brides to go minimalistic. Today, let us look at a bride, who chose minimalism on her wedding.
The bride, Kinjal Shah created a stunning look for her wedding with her minimalistic design. She wore an off-white lehenga from the shelves of the ace designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee. The minimalistic lehenga featured golden sequins and patch-work on its hem. Instead of wearing a contrasting hue for the blouse, she wore a matching blouse. The blouse had a V-neckline, which enhanced her overall look.
Sabyasachi designs his outfits, keeping the traditional beauty of India intact. He believes in giving the rituals and traditions of India a minimalistic touch and balancing the maximalism aspect with jewellery. Even in this off-white lehenga worn by the bride, you can see conventional patterns near the bottom. This intricate embellishment of a touch of black in the golden borders of the lehenga became the highlight of the whole outfit. The designer proved that mixing a gold, black, and white palette can never go out of style.
Going minimal in this part of the outfit too, Kinjal Shah wore a single soft net dupatta on her head. The whole bridal attire captivated everyone’s attention, with floral patterns embroidered all over the dupatta along with a heavy gold border.
