Popular Bollywood actor, Shahid Kapoor married Mira Rajput in 2015. Considered one of the ‘It’ couples in Tinseltown, the two are parents to a daughter, Misha and a son, Zain. The actor's wife juggles between her role as a mother and wife and that of a content creator perfectly. Apart from that, Mira loves spending quality time with her family. She often takes to her social media accounts to share some fond glimpses of the moments she spends with her family.
Recently, Mira took to her Instagram account and shared a carousel featuring some delicious dishes made by her mother, Bela Rajput, and daughter, Misha. The post featured a picture of her mom’s special Pad Thai and Thai green curry along with some jasmine rice on the side. The next photo gave a glimpse of the place that Misha has kept reserved for her mumma. Sharing the carousel, Mira captioned her post as:

“Dinner by Mommy & dessert by Missy. I’m a lucky girl @belaji_17. My all time favourite Mom’s special Pad Thai and Thai Curry with Jasmine rice. Dessert was Orange Cake, Apple Pie & Tutti Fruity but the yummiest fruit was the apple of my eye.”

The last of the carousel featured a video of Shahid and Mira’s lovely daughter, Misha’s voice in the background. The little one was heard instructing her mother, Mira about her reserved place on the table. In the next part of the clip, she also showed her dadi, Neliima Azeem, her seat on the table of desserts.

On June 3, 2024, Mira took to her Instagram stories to share a video of her mother-in-law, Neliima Azeem, showing her Kathak skills along with another dancer. The duo gracefully danced to the beats of traditional Kathak tunes. For those unversed, Neliima Azeem is a trained Kathak dancer who received guidance from the legendary Birju Maharaj at Kalashram. Mira gave a shoutout to her mother-in-law and penned:
“Can anybody dance like her.”

In one of his old interviews, Shahid talked about welcoming his little girl, Misha, into their lives. He revealed that after he got to know that he and Mira had welcomed a girl into this world, he immediately called up his father-in-law seeking his forgiveness. In an interview with Komal Nahata, Shahid mentioned that he was very happy when he got the news of Misha’s birth, and his next action was to call up Mira’s father. Talking about the incident, he said:
“I was so happy, and then I was so scared because it was a daughter. And having a girl makes you feel so like ‘oh god’ because I had just gotten married and the first thing, I did was I called Mira’s father and said, ‘Dad, if I did anything to trouble you in the shaadi then I am really sorry.’”
