Mira Rajput Kapoor boasts millions of followers across her social media platforms. She launched her YouTube channel back in March 2021 and has 332K subscribers so far. From sharing vlogs from her daily life to inviting famous personalities and family members to talk about skincare on her podcast, Skin & Within, Mira has indeed created her own identity in the industry. In fact, her love for skincare is a big part of that unique identity, which led her to start her own skincare brand, Akind. However, since its launch in June 2024, Mira has been accused of not using her own products.
Mira Rajput Kapoor recently held a masterclass for her skincare products at the Ajio Luxe Wkend 2025. During the same, Mira acknowledged the rumours about her allegedly not using her own products. In a now viral video, Mira said:
"A lot of people say, 'You are not using the product', 'Are you actually using your product'? I only use my products, and that is why I have used it as is (today). I use every product. So, I am actually wearing the skin tint; there is no foundation and no concealer. This is exactly what Sand 130 (a product from her skincare brand) looks like."
Mira further clarified that sometimes cuts might be made in videos to show everyone how to use all the products. However, that didn't mean the products were not being used. Her demonstration of using Akind's skin tint proved that she was the proud founder of a skincare line she truly believed in.
It is no secret that celebrities may not always love or even use the products they use in their everyday life. However, with her words, Mira firmly lumped herself in with the celebs who practised what they preached.
Soon after the video of Mira Rajput Kapoor addressing the speculations about her not using her own products was shared on Instagram, the clip made its way onto Reddit, and netizens had a lot of comments. For the most part, users remained unconvinced that Mira was actually living up to her bold claims, pointing out that the only product she had used from her line was her skin tint.

One netizen wrote, "If she's using her products then I am PM of India and you all will get 10000 per month in your bank account." Another user hilariously penned, "When I used to lie to my mom about my mark sheet with so much jumbled explaination, my mom used to tell me one thing 'if you have to explain and justify so much it's just not right' Chill Mira! Nobody cares for your products, not even you. Just be a kind person." Yet another comment read, "After hearing her saying I have used ONLY skin tint Her blush be like."
Mira Rajput Kapoor broke headlines when she launched her skincare brand and officially entered the world of entrepreneurship in June 2024. The stunning diva attended Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani's mega event at Jio World Drive and introduced her skincare label, Akind, to the world. Mira Rajput could be spotted interacting with several young girls and discussing her vision for her skincare brand.
Soon after the launch, the products of Mira Rajput Kapoor's skincare brand, Akind, appeared on Isha Ambani Piramal's Tira Beauty, which is a part of Reliance Retail. For the uninitiated, Mira Rajput co-founded the skincare label, Akind, which is reportedly owned by Reliance Retail. During the launch, Mira Rajput shared how Akind focuses on creating products to simplify skincare routines.
