From their sartorial choices to their parenting styles, Shahid Kapoor’s ex, Kareena Kapoor Khan and his wife, Mira Rajput Kapoor are often compared with each other. Kareena Kapoor Khan is a proud mother of the crush of the nation, Taimur Ali Khan, and Mira Rajput Kapoor is a proud mom to her two kids, Misha Kapoor and Zain Kapoor. Time and again, netizens have compared these two young and beautiful women on the way they lead their lives. On November 23, 2018, Mira along with Misha and Zain headed off to Delhi, which is also her hometown, to spend some quality time with her parents and also to celebrate her father’s 60th birthday. While leaving for Delhi, Mira was captured by the paparazzi at the Mumbai airport and became a huge victim of trolls for not carrying her two-month-old son, Zain. Zain was wrapped in his nanny’s arms while Mira walked hand-in-hand with Misha. Here’s the video:
Mira earlier stated in one of her interviews about balancing the responsibility of a child and work, “I love being at home, I love being a mother to my child, I wouldn’t have it any other way. I wouldn’t want to spend one hour a day with my child and rush off to work. Why did I have her? She is not a puppy, you know. I want to be there for her as a mother, seeing her grow up cannot be quantified.” And people started targeting her for contradicting her own statement and not taking care of her kids. Here are some screenshots of the trolls:

On December 12, 2018, Mira Rajput Kapoor was captured again on Mumbai airport as she is back from Delhi, along with Misha Kapoor and Zain Kapoor. This time, she was backlashed for carrying Zain Kapoor in her arms only because she was trolled earlier for not carrying him and giving Misha to the nanny. Also, some trolled her for not coming with her husband, Shahid Kapoor as he came back on December 11. Here are some comments:
A few days after Mira Rajput’s aforementioned statement on working mothers, Kareena spoke about the criticism she keeps getting on how she is handling Taimur Ali Khan. Bebo was quoted as saying, “Yes, I was on my feet a few days after the delivery, but it's upsetting to have people judge you for it. No one has the right to comment on how I conduct myself or what sort of a mother I am. Everyone seems to have an opinion. Postpartum depression is not a must, right? It's whimsical to generalise that every woman goes through that phase, almost making it sound like a norm. Every pregnancy and every mother's journey with her child during those nine months and afterwards is different.” (Also Read: Shahid Kapoor Finally Opens Up About The Rumours Of His Stomach Cancer, Twitteratis React)
As per a report by DNA, when Kareena was asked to react on Mira’s statement where she sort of condemned working moms, she retorted, “What kind of a mother I am is something that will unfold with time. I will not scream from rooftops about experiencing motherhood or how much I love Taimur. There’s always the pressure of being judged, no matter what you do. It’s about how you deal with it. Every pregnancy and every mother’s journey with her child during those nine months and afterwards is different. You can’t draw parallels. No one out there really knows me or what I am feeling at a given time. How can anyone decide on my behalf whether I am supposed to feel depressed or if I can step out before 45 days? If I’m spoken about like that, what would it be like for other women?”
As per a Bollywood Life report, a source revealed that Mira was upset with Kareena's outburst on motherhood. Although, nowhere has Kareena mentioned Mira's name in her statement but the fact it came right after Mira's interview got everyone wondering if Bebo was indirectly taunting Mira through her statements.
Mira was also trolled after she stepped into the showbiz world with her first TV ad, Olay commercial. In an interview with Times Now, when Mira Rajput Kapoor was asked about being trolled for the commercial, she retorted, “The internet is one platform that is accessible to everyone. People can say what they feel and it gives everyone the right to express themselves the way they want and to what extent they feel like. So, there will be opinions. It's not that everyone is going to love you. I have always spoken for myself and I have never shied away from expressing what I truly feel.”
She went on to say, “It’s not something new for me. Nowadays, people receive backlash for whatever they do or say. It is the way the internet is. At some level, it is a bit sad.” Mira further shared nervousness while shooting for the ad, and said, “I won't lie, I was very nervous because doing an ad was completely out of my comfort zone. But I think what put me at ease was the nature of the ad, which was very conversational with real experiences. It was something I have already been through. I felt that I was just talking about something that I have gone through myself and from my own point of view. The natural synergy put me at ease.” (Also Read: Mira Rajput Kapoor Gets Trolled For Her Debut TV Commercial Which Focuses On Skin Transformation)
