Manchu Bhakthavatsalam Naidu, known as Mohan Babu, is a famous actor and film producer who predominantly works in the Telugu film industry. The actor has acted in 500 movies, and his acting skills often get praised by cinema fanatics. In his personal life, he was first married to Vidya Devi, with whom he has a daughter, Manchu Lakshmi Prasanna, and a son, Manchu Vishnu. After Vidya Devi's demise, Mohan Babu got married to her sister, Nirmala, with whom he has a son, Manchu Manoj.
Over the years, Mohan Babu and his son, Manchu Manoj's spats had grabbed a whole lot of attention, which were reportedly due to family and property. Moreover, it escalated on December 10, 2024, when Manchu Manoj tried to enter Mohan Babu's home, wherein the former was not permitted to be. Moreover, on December 10, Manchu Manoj and his wife, Mounika attempted to arrive at Mohan Babu's home, stating that their children were inside the house. A heated standoff erupted as the security personnel didn't let Manoj and Mounika enter the premises.
In the videos that made rounds on social media, Manchu Manoj was seen trying to enter Mohan Babu's home forcibly, but the security personnel seemingly pushed him. Things further got escalated, when Mohan Babu came out of the house and seemingly attacked one of the journalists who were present outside his home to cover the brawl between Manoj and Mohan. He reportedly attacked a journalist on his head by snatching his mic, which led the journalist to be admitted to the hospital.
As per an FIR sourced by ANI, the journalist who was hit by Mohan Babu revealed that he and other journalists were invited to the actor's house for the coverage. During the conversation, the complainant was confronted by Mohan Babu in an aggressive way. As per the complaint that was lodged by the actor, he grabbed the journalist's mic and cell phone and even used abusive language. This assault resulted in the journalist having a massive head injury. As per the report, the journalist lodged a complaint against Mohan Babu at Pahadi Shareef police station, and the former is currently hospitalised.
Mohan Babu also reportedly lodged a complaint against his son on December 9, 2024, wherein he said his son is addicted to alcohol. He alleged that Manchu Manoj, along with his wife, orchestrated to take possession of his house. Moreover, as per a recent health bulletin released by Continental Hospitals in Hyderabad states, Mohan Babu is currently hospitalised after a physical altercation with the media. On the other hand, another report claimed that Mohan Babu has moved to the High Court, after receiving notice from police for attacking the journalist.
