In the times of COVID-19, our smiles have been masked, social distancing is appreciated and hugs have become just an emoticon on Whatsapp. After more than two-months of lockdown to slow down the spread of highly contagious Coronavirus, the world is getting back and adjusting to the new normal as Government is opening few sectors, in hope of stabilising the economy. But these strange days have surged a scare in all of us because the cases are rising with every passing hour. Last week, we were left in shock when we had heard the news of television actress, Mohena Kumari Singh and her family being tested COVID-19 positive. Her fans, family and friends were left heartbroken and everyone prayed for the betterment of their favourite actress. After being tested positive for coronavirus, Mohena Kumari Singh had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared the difficult times her family is going through. She had written a long note stating that she cannot sleep as the initial days have been difficult for the entire family. Her note could be read as “Can't sleep. These initial days have been difficult for all of us at home especially our young one and our elders. But I'm praying it'll all be over soon. We are fine. We have no rights to complain about anything as there are people out there who are suffering way more than us.” She also thanked everyone for their love and support, and added, “But I'd like to thank you each one of you for all the messages, prayers and love you'll have been sending. It's keeping our spirits up. And we have so much gratitude in our hearts for you'll. Thank you all."
After spending 10 days in the hospital, Mohena and her family are back at their home. However, they are still COVID-19 positive. On June 12, 2020, the actress took to her Instagram handle and posted an Instagram story, wherein, she wrote, "Hi everyone! I'm back home, but we are still COVID-19 positive. We are in complete isolation. We don't know how long will it take to get the negative test. We were in the hospital for 10 days and I probably had the virus in my body 5 days before that. So, hopefully a few more days and we will hopefully beat the virus. But till then, we have to follow extremely strict rules." Check out her complete story below:
A couple of days ago, Mohena had hosted a live Instagram session from the hospital room and had bared her heart out. At the start of the video, she shared the reason for coming live and talked about her health. She had said. "This is my 6th day in the hospital at Rishikesh. It doesn't feel bad physically that much, but it affects you mentally more." She also had shared that it was her mother-in-law, who was first tested positive for the COVID-19 and when the entire family got themselves tested, most of them was infected. She had stated, "Most of us had contracted the virus, and it was very shocking for the family. Mentally it was very difficult. Thankfully, we got tested early, and it did not spread outside our house. We broke the chain by testing ourselves early, which was of utmost importance." In the Instagram Live, Mohena had also revealed that the hospital has kept the couples together and she was in the same room as of her husband, Suyesh Rawat. It was in an interview with SpotboyE, Mohena had confirmed the news of being tested COVID-19 positive and had said, "Right now we are in the hospital. The news is true, my family and I have tested positive.” She had further revealed the details about her family and staff testing positive and had continued, “So, a lot of people stay with us. Not in the house but we have a quarters sort of thing. We are 7 family members who have been affected and rest all are people from a sanstha. They are also affected but nobody has any kind of major symptom. In fact, none of us has any major symptoms and I think that's why it spread so much and we didn't come to know about it. Kisiko pata hi nahi chala and ghar hi ghar mein fail gaya. Although we have isolated ourselves and now getting our treatment done."
