Do you remember the scene from 1994 film, Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!, when Pooja was welcomed in her sasural after marriage and her father-in-law, Kailash Nath distributed gifts to his staff? Then Pooja’s devar, Prem came and asked for his gift too. To which, Kailash Nath said, “Inhe milegi duty. Dekh Bhabhi sabse zyada sneh apne devar se rakhti hai. Isliye dhyaan rahe, teri Bhabhi ko kabhi iske mayke ki yaad na sataye.” Well, the relationship is no different with nanad-bhabhi as the bride gets a sister in the form of her nanad in her new home and the latter finds a constant companion in the form of her bhabhi. Mohena Kumari Singh and her bhabhisa, Vasundhra Raj Laxmi prove what a blessing having a sister-in-law is! When Mohena had tied the knot with the love of her life, Suyesh Rawat, her bhabhisa was by her side throughout and the pictures are proof how happy she was for her nanad. Posting some beautiful moments with her sister-in-law from their wedding, Mohena had written, “I can’t explain the gratitude I feel for you. For coming into my life and our life. I know I trouble you a lot... but it’s only because i know you are the best and I want you to be better than the best. I love you so much @vasundhrarajlaxmi.”

On May 13, 2020, Mohena Kumari Singh’s bhabhisa, Vasundhra Raj Laxmi had turned a year older and to mark this day, her nanad has posted two videos captioned as ‘2016 memories’ and ‘2019 memories’, which comprised of some cherishable moments of them. Mohena also posted a video, in which she gave us a glimpse of the chocolate tart cake made by her husband, Suyesh Rawat for their bhabhisa. Commenting on the video with their special memories, Vasundhra wrote, “Thank you so much.... This will be my most cherished treasure... Thank you so much! Love.” To which, Mohena replied, “@vasundhrarajlaxmi I’m glad it will...” Thanking Mohena and Suyesh for the chocolate tart cake, Vasundhra wrote, “Aawwwwwwwww this is so adorable.... Thank you jawaisa and mohena.. truly special. Love you both.”
To mark the beginning of the year 2020, Mohena Kumari Singh had treated her fans with a frame-worthy photograph of her royal clan from her wedding, which also included her husband, Suyesh Rawat’s family. Mohena had captioned it, “Wish you all a Happy New Year from the Rewa and Rawat Family with a message to spread Love, Peace, feeling of Unity, Happiness and good health to the World and our Country. #fromustoyou.” While it was a treat for all her fans, for some, Mohena’s look, which had a pallu drawn over her head as per Rajputana traditions, didn’t go well and had trolled the star for the same. One of her followers had commented on her post, “Why is your face under veil?” To which, another follower replied, “@minimalindian because these are people who follow their so called male dominated rituals. Even education doesn’t get them a brain.” Giving a befitting reply to the troll, Mohena Kumari Singh had written, “@jiyasarna even Christians have a veil when they marry… and so do Muslims… I guess they are all uneducated too! It’s an age old Rajput tradition which Rajput women follow when they get married. This was not forced upon me.. I chose to do it @minimalindian.” Mohena’s bhabhisa, Vasundhra Raj Laxmi had come in support of her sister-in-law and had commented, “@jiyasarna please go see Priyanka Chopra wedding pics.. And ask her if she is uneducated?!? These are traditions… English wedding people do it, you will like it CZ it’s modern. Indian tradition you will make fun of… wow man… I wonder who is uneducated?!?”
In an interview with The Times Of India, Mohena Kumari Singh had revealed that her wedding trousseau was finalised by her mother and sister-in-law, Vasundhra Raj Laxmi. She had said, "My entire wedding trousseau has been finalised by my sister-in-law Yuvrani Vasudhara Raj Lakshmi and by my mother Maharani Ragini Singh. I am pretty much just going to pick-up those bags and go to my new house."
When Mohena Kumari Singh and Suyesh Rawat had completed three months of blissful married life on January 14, 2020, to mark the same, the former had treated her fans with a picture-perfect family portrait with her clan, in-laws and Suyesh Rawat. Mohena had penned down the importance of family in her caption, which could be read as “In today’s day and age people are losing the importance and respect for family. But We still believe there is strength in togetherness. In Family there is strength that all the power in the world cannot undo.
