The same happened to television actress, Mohena Kumari Singh at her vidaai ceremony which took place earlier today (November 09, 2019). Real-life princess, Mohena Kumari Singh got married to her dream man, Suyesh Rawat in a fairytale wedding. Right from her pre-wedding festivities to her vidaai, every ceremony of hers made us witness how modern-day princess/prince story upholds and stands true. Hence, on October 14, 2019, Mohena tied the knot with Suyesh and had looked resplendent in her all-red shaadi ka joda. Mohena looked beautiful in a purple and Kanjeevaram saree with pallu drawn over her head and her hubby, Suyesh sported a beige bandhgala, safa tied on his head as he arrived to take his wife with him officially tomorrow. It is soon going to be a month since Mohena Kumari Singh has upgraded from ‘miss’ to ‘missus’ and the pictures from her pre-wedding and wedding under the ‘SuMoKiShaadi’ hashtag is still doing the rounds on the internet. And as interested as we are to know how her post-wedding life looks like, a recent video posted by her sister-in-law had showcased a glimpse of what we understand by the term ‘royalty’. In the video, Mohena was seen getting a royal welcome from her in-laws’ in Delhi as everyone bestowed her with garlands and flowers as she walked ahead of her hubby, Suyesh Rawat, with a wide smile on her face. With pallu drawn over her head and her simple yet gorgeous orange and red Bandhni saree was surely a show-stealer! Mohena Kumari Singh, in an interview with The Times of India, had revealed about her honeymoon plans and how is she faring through her marital phase. She had shared, “As of now, I am going with the flow and enjoying my new married life. No plans for the near future, I am just enjoying my time and I want to keep it that way. I am going to travel – there are a lot of places that I am going to visit. But the honeymoon is a bit delayed and we will go next year. My social media account will keep my fans posted about my whereabouts.”
In a June 2019 interview with The Times of India, Mohena Kumari Singh had put an end to all the ‘rumours’ of her quitting acting post her wedding and turned it into news. Confirming that she will indeed, quit the telly industry and also her show, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Mohena had stated, “Post marriage, I will say goodbye to acting and Mumbai. My life is all set to take a 180-degree turn. I am excited and nervous at the same time. Even my industry friends were taken aback with my decision, but that’s the kind of person I am.
