It’s just been three days since we said “Bye Felicia!” to 2019 and “How you doin’?” to 2020. If we take a look back at the year 2019, we had a basket full of beautiful memories. Every time we had a chat with our friends or relatives, they had delighted us with a ‘good news’, while some found love in their lives, some took their relationship to the next level and entered the doubles’ club, and some welcomed a little bundle of joy and got promoted to the next phase, parenthood. Well, that’s exactly what happened to celebs too, last year! Speaking of 2019 weddings, the royal Indian wedding surely made us gape in wonderment with its grandeur and even today, the pictures and videos make our heart skip a beat. The real-life princess of Rewa and choreographer-cum-dancer-turned-actress, Mohena Kumari Singh left her world of acting and tied the knot with her ‘Prince Charming’, Suyesh Rawat in Haridwar, where lakhs of people had gathered to witness the duo’s grand union. On October 14, 2019, the nation had witnessed the first glimpse of Mohena and Suyesh as bride and groom and were taken aback by the grandeur of their wedding with more than two lakh guests were present to bless the couple. Even though more than two months had passed by, we still are in awe of how lovely Mohena and Suyesh had looked at their wedding.

As a bride, Mohena Kumari Singh had looked every bit of gorgeous in a traditional red Rajputana poshak with pallu drawn over her head, small bindi, matha patti and borla (maang teeka), traditional jadau nath and an all-red chooda. And Suyesh Rawat had complemented her well in a beige-hued embroidered sherwani and safa. Mohena had opted for a Sabyasachi lehenga, and a while back, the ace designer shared unseen pictures of the bride. Sabyasachi captioned them as “Mohena Kumari Singh @mohenakumari in a Sabyasachi Lehenga for her wedding in Haridwar, Uttarakhand.”

A few hours ago, Mohena Kumari Singh shared how the beginning of New Year proved to be a beautiful experience for her. To mark the beginning of the year 2020, Mohena Kumari Singh had treated her fans with a frame-worthy photograph of her royal clan from her wedding, which also included her husband, Suyesh Rawat’s family. Mohena had captioned it, “Wish you all a Happy New Year from the Rewa and Rawat Family with a message to spread Love, Peace, feeling of Unity, Happiness and good health to the World and our Country. #fromustoyou.” While it was a treat for all her fans, for some, Mohena’s look, which had a pallu drawn over her head as per Rajputana traditions, didn’t go well and had trolled the star for the same. Post more than a week since Mohena Kumari Singh had upgraded from ‘miss’ to ‘missus’, her sister-in-law had posted a video, which had showcased a glimpse of what we understand by the term ‘royalty’. In the video, Mohena was seen getting a royal welcome in Delhi as everyone bestowed her with garlands and flowers as she walked ahead of her hubby, Suyesh Rawat, with a wide smile on her face. With pallu drawn over her head, her simple yet gorgeous orange and red bandhni saree surely was a show-stealer!
After her grand October wedding, Mohena Kumari Singh’s vidaai ceremony too was a royal affair and she, along with hubby, Suyesh Rawat was bestowed with garlands and flowers as she bid adieu to her hometown. On November 10, 2019, Mohena had left her parents’ house to start her ‘happily ever after’ journey with husband and in-laws. Dressed in a Rajputana yellow attire, Mohena had exuded royalty while her hubby, Suyesh too, looked like a king in an orange-coloured sherwani.
