There is a reason why the couples announce their pregnancy as ‘We are pregnant'! The nine months of pregnancy are a roller coaster ride not only for the expecting mother but also for the papa-to-be. When a mommy feels pukish, it is her husband’s duty to rub her back and help her. When she feels mood swings, the expecting father has to cajole her or when hunger pangs strike her, the daddy-to-be has to be on his toes to bring whatever she wants to eat. Along with the mommy-to-be, the daddy-to-be has to prepare himself equally for the soon-to-be-born baby, and TV actor, Mohit Malik has proved it. Mohit and his wife, Aditi Shirwaikar Malik are soon going to welcome their first child and the actor has been pampering his wife every day. A few days back, Mohit and his friends had planned a godh bharai rasam for Aditi. From a traditional Marathi green saree for puja to a white and orange kurta set for the cake cutting ceremony and a floral flowy dress for the after-party late at night, Aditi had nailed all three looks for her baby shower. While everything about Aditi's baby shower was all about love, it was Mohit's intention to be a part of his wife's godh bharai rasam that had caught our attention. Yes, a friend of Mohit had hailed him for his decision of not letting godh bharai a rasam only for women as he had equally participated in the ritual. Mohit had re-shared his friend's story on his IG stories, where the husband-wife could be seen twinning in traditional Marathi outfits as he had said something in his pregnant wife's ear. Along with it, his friend had written, "When Mohit insists why is godh bharai only for women... Why not for men. Love you both" followed by four heart emoticons atop it.
Now, on the occasion of International Women’s Day, Mohit has shared an adorable wish for his pregnant wife, Aditi and a beautiful picture along with it. In the picture, Mohit can be seen gleefully kissing his pregnant wife, Aditi, who can be seen smiling. It was her baby bump that unmissable. Along with the picture, Mohit wrote, “My search for the divine comes to end as I see you create, simple! To my creator and of the the whole world! #internationalwomensday.”

In a conversation with The Times Of India, Mohit had shared how he is preparing for parenthood and his plans to be with Aditi in the last days of her pregnancy. Sharing that he wishes to keep himself free for 25 days at least, he had said, "“Being a parent needs a lot of preparation and Addite and I are working on ourselves to do the best that we can as parents. I am also sure that I want to focus just on family in coming months. Therefore, whenever I am being approached for work now, I have been telling them that I can take up something for now, but in after a month or two, I just want to be with Addite. I want to keep myself absolutely free for around 25 days in coming months. If I get to work with someone who is okay with that, I will take up something."
