Textile industrialist and senator, Gulzar Ahmed organised a big fat destination wedding for his granddaughter, Anush Ammar. The couple first had their nikkah in Pakistan’s Badshahi Mosque, after which they flew all their guests to Turkey. Gulzar Ahmed took care of all the travel and accommodation expenses of the guest. The wedding festivities in Turkey included bridal showers, Disney nights, concerts and more.
This wasn’t all for the wedding celebration, as after returning from Turkey, Anush Ammar and Muneeb held a few more wedding festivities in Pakistan. The couple even had a white Christian wedding, which we rarely see in Pakistan.

A wedding between two industrial moguls is bound to be luxurious at its best. Malik Riaz’s grandson Zoraiz got married to Zainab. Malik Riaz not only decorated the Bahria Town of Lahore for the occasion but also gifted his grandson a Bugatti as a wedding gift. The grand wedding also featured special fireworks custom ordered from America.

Pakistan Peoples Party member, Sharmila Farooqi married former Wall Street investment banker and presidential advisor, Hasham Riaz Sheikh. Famous Indian celebrity, Sukhbir Singh also attended this grand wedding, where the bride made her grand entry in a white horse, smashing all patriarchal stereotypes. It was also reported that Sharmila’s wedding outfit was PRK 6 million.
Malik Riaz spared no expense and luxury when it came to his granddaughter, Maryam's wedding. So much so that he arranged for a helicopter for the couple's wedding celebrations. The barat was brought to the venue via helicopters, and Malik Riaz even gifted his damaad, Hamza, an Audi R8 worth around PRK 100 million.
The former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Nawaz Sharif, organised a grand wedding for his granddaughter, Mehrunnisa and industrialist, Chaudhry Munir Ahmed's son, Munir Ahmed. The couple had their wedding festivities in three countries: Pakistan, Dubai and London. The couple got married in Masjid Nabavi, and more than four thousand guests were invited to the ceremony.
