Ambani family has played a major role in providing employment to thousands of people in different sectors through their businesses for some decades now. It was all started by the legendary business tycoon, Dhirubhai Ambani, who laid the foundation of Reliance Industries back in 1958 and took it public in 1977. Dhirubhai Ambani and his wife, Kokilaben Ambani welcomed four children, Mukesh Ambani, Anil Ambani, Nina Ambani, and Dipti Ambani.
After Dhirubhai Ambani's demise on July 6, 2002, Mukesh Ambani and Anil Ambani took the command of Reliance in their own hands. Mukesh Ambani is currently the chairman and managing director of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), while Anil Ambani is the chairman and managing director of Reliance Group. Talking about their sisters, Nina Ambani Kothari is the chairperson of Kothari Sugars and Chemicals Limited, and Deepti Ambani Salgaocar is the vice-chairperson of Sunaparanta Goa Centre for Arts.

Mukesh Ambani, Anil Ambani, and Deepti Salgaocar have been a constant name in the media limelight. The couple welcomed two children, Arjun Kothari and Nayantara Kothari. Unfortunately, on February 22, 2015, the ace industrialist passed away due to cancer. It was a heartbreaking phase for Nina, but she took on all the responsibilities and fulfilled them with the utmost perfection.
Nina Kothari was appointed as the chairperson of Kothari Sugars and Chemicals Limited on April 8, 2015, and took it to the next level in the coming years. Apart from leading her husband's family business to further heights, Nina also worked on her own company, Javagreen, which she launched back in 2003. According to a report in The Times Of India, Nina Kothari has added two companies, Kothari Safe Deposits Limited and Kothari Petrochemicals Limited, to the Kothari Group, which has increased its value in the market.

As per multiple reports, Kothari Sugars and Chemicals Limited has a solid market capitalisation of Rs. 435 crores. The way Nina Kothari has taken her husband's conglomerate to this level is extraordinary, and it proves the mettle of her strong business acumen. Nina Kothari and Bhadrashyam Kothar's son, Arjun B Kothari is the MD & Non-Independent Executive Director at Kothari Petrochemicals Ltd and Managing Director of Kothari Sugars and Chemicals Ltd. Arjun got married to Anandita Mariwala on November 21, 2019, in a grand wedding.
Moving on to Nina Kothari's daughter, Nayantara Kothari, she tied the marital knot with Shamit Bhatia, who is the former director of Hindustan Media Ventures and non-executive director of Jubilant Industries. He is also the son of renowned business personality, Shyam Sunder Bhatia, who is the founder and chairman of Jubilant Bhartia Group.
For the unversed, Jubilant Industries is the one, who paved the way for international brands like Domino's and Dunkin' Donuts (DD) in India. As of now, it has a market capitalisation of Rs. 37000 crores.

For the unversed, Nayantara Kothari is an alumnus of the prestigious Stanford University. However, not everyone is aware of the fact that Nayantara is primarily a homemaker. Although she is not directly involved in her mother, Nina Kothari, or her husband, Shamit Bhatia's respective businesses, she has a significant share in Kothari Sugars and Chemicals. Despite being born into an affluent family and being the bahu of one of India's biggest conglomerates, Nayantara prefers to live a life away from the media spotlight, which is why we see so little of her in the public eye.
