The Ambanis are definitely one of the richest families in Asia. They are the most humble and grounded business family. Despite all the riches, Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani have raised their children, Akash Ambani, Isha Ambani and Anant Ambani, with the same values that they grew up with. From the very beginning, they were taught to value money and stay grounded.
Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani have raised their children with a strong value system, as for them, power is a responsibility. One of the major reasons for the Ambanis' success is the fact that they have not forgotten their roots. This can be easily deciphered from Nita Ambani’s statement in her throwback iDiva interview, where she had said:
"Wealth and power don’t go together. Power cannot be brokered. To me, power is responsibility. And I derive it from my family, my work, my passion and my very middle-class values."

Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani had once graced Simi Garewal's chat show, Rendezvous with Simi Garewal, where Mrs Ambani had revealed how her husband wanted their kids to be good human beings. Talking about the same, she had said:
"Mukesh Ambani is a very down-to-earth person and he wants his children to become good human beings. Mukesh always wants his children to understand the value of money and he says that money doesn’t grow on trees, rather one has to work hard to earn money."
She had further recalled an incident when Mukesh had got upset with Akash for shouting at the watchman. Recalling how he had asked Akash to apologise to the watchman, Nita had shared:
"Once her son Akash Ambani was arguing with watchman and Mukesh saw him shouting at the watchman. Mukesh then scolded him for his bad behaviour with the watchman and asked him to say sorry to the security guard. Akash then sought an apology from the security guard at the behest of his father."

In a throwback interview with iDiva, Nita had talked about raising her children, keeping her middle-class upbringing in mind. Do you know, Nita Ambani used to give Rs. 5 each as pocket money to her kids to spend in the school canteen. Narrating the funny incident, Nita had stated:
"When my kids were still young, I’d give them Rs 5 each every Friday to spend in the school canteen. One day, my youngest, Anant, came running into my bedroom and demanded he be given Rs 10 instead. When I questioned him, he said his pals in school laughed whenever they saw him take out a five-rupee coin saying, ‘Ambani hai ya bhikari!’ Mukesh and I couldn’t help but crack up.”
