Muskaan Rastogi's Viral Pics In Saree Shows Her Happy Amid Husband, Saurabh Rajput's Murder

Merchant Navy officer, Saurabh Rajput's murder has shaken the entire nation. The 29-year-old officer was slayed to death at the hands of his wife, Muskaan Rastogi and her lover, Sahil Shukla. Saurabh. He met his end when he returned from London to celebrate the birthday of his six-year-old daughter. Muskaan and Sahil chopped off Saurabh's body cemented it in a drum, and then fled to Himachal Pradesh for a 15-day vacation. Now, pictures of Muskaan have gone viral on social media where she was posing in a black saree, in front of the camera.

It was on February 25, 2025, when Muskaan and Sahil first attempted to kill Saurabh. He was given a meal that was filled with sedatives, but it only put the officer to sleep. Now, amid the spine-chilling case, a picture of Muskaan has gone viral, and she could be seen posing in a black saree and holding her cell phone. It is unclear as to whether the snap was taken before she killed Saurabh or during a party with her lover, Sahil. However, the snaps revealed that she looked happy.

Netizens feel that if the crime had happened against a woman, protests would have happened

Muskaan had confessed to the police of murdering her husband, Saurabh. She told her parents to surrender her to the police. Netizens on Reddit feel that if the crime had happened against a woman, then candle marches would have taken place. One user said, "She’s literally arrested. Not like Nirbhaya or RG where men destroyed the evidence and it took months to catch culprits."  

A third one even wrote, "How many women have been hanged in this country till date after the Independence? None. Women have been serial killer, rapist and what not in this country. It's true that women are the marginalized section in this country but I am damn sure those women are not like her and one more thing not a single woman stands for those who are being subjected to cruelty. It's the empowered one who portrays themselves as marginalized and persecuted."

Muskaan Rastogi's mother shares her daughter, Muskaan Rastogi made a big mistake

Earlier, during an interview with ANI, Muskaan's mom, Kavita, shared that she wanted to tell all the children out there never to hide anything from their parents. She said that her child had committed a big mistake. Kavita shared that she used to ask Muskaan what the problem was, but she kept losing weight; she had lost 10 kg in 2 years. The shocked mother added:

"She hid a lot of things from us and that's why she is in jail today. We have no idea if she was brainwashed or did drugs...had she shared something with us, she wouldn't have been in this condition."

Muskaan's dad, Pramod shared that when they were going to the police station he had stopped the scooter, spoke to Muskaan to tell her the truth. It was then when she confessed the truth that she and her friend together killed her husband, they put his body in a drum and placed cement on top of it.
