For a bride, her wedding day outfits hold a lot of importance. It not only makes a bride stand out in the crowd, but it has a lot of emotional value that every woman wants to preserve for years. Over time, we have seen drastic changes in bridal fashion. There was a time when lehengas ruled the wedding scenes, but nowadays, brides are looking for sustainable fashion pieces for their big day, which they can reuse later. And lehengas do not do justice anymore.

Meet the bride of the week, Nazifa, got married on a rainy day in Sydney, Australia. The bride ditched the heavy lehengas or shararas for her nikaah ceremony. She opted for a beautiful kurta set, designed by the ace designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee.

The bride's calf-length cream-toned kurta featured a close neck with butti-work all over it. She styled it with matching pants and a dupatta pinned over her head.
The bride opted for layered jewellery to add an oomph factor to her magical look. She accentuated her look with a choker neckpiece, a three-layered pearl neckpiece and a kundan necklace.

The bride accessorised her look with matching earrings and a maang teeka. However, her retro-styled haath phools made her look stand out.

Another highlight of the bride's look was her natural makeup. She didn't get overboard with colours on her face. She picked a nude-toned base with soft eyes, mascara, defied brows and nude-toned lipsticks. Her wedding day look was completed with centre-parted hair tied in a low bun with a gajra.
We loved the bride's subtle makeup and unique outfit designed by Sabyasachi Mukherjee. The bride proved that less is more when it comes to getting dressed for the big day.
