Television actor, Nakuul Mehta's wife, Jankee Parekh opened up on how her life has changed post embracing motherhood. Jankee, who is enjoying every moment of nurturing her baby boy, Sufi Mehta, is making sure to share the details of being a first-time mommy. It is said that every time, the baby cries, the new mom's blood pressure goes through the roof. And we are sure no one can understand it better than the new mommies.

It was on February 6, 2021, the newbie parents, Nakuul and Jankee had shared a beautiful picture of their little world. The duo had posted a picture, wherein they were seen holding their baby boy's hand. Along with it, they had written, "February 3, 2021. This is us. Grateful and sleepy in equal measure. *ing @jank_ee and him." 

On April 8, 2021, Jankee took to her Instagram handle and shared two beautiful pictures of herself. Alongside it, Jankee penned a long note on how her life has changed post embracing motherhood. She wrote, "Haven’t shared a story for long, probably I didn’t know what to talk about. And then so many of you reached out on DM’s and shared yours and that encouraged me to write my most recent one. It’s been more than 60 days to my new life & SOMETHING HAS SWITCHED. I finally feel so much at ease embracing motherhood."

Jankee further wrote how she can handle her crying baby now, "Today, when Sufi cries, I no longer feel the urge to hand him over to my Jhapa to quieten him. I feel so much more in sync and in rhythm with his body, feelings and emotions, and I know that my one touch will put him at ease. Earlier, I always felt the need to depend on either my help or someone or the other to take care of him through the day, whether it is changing his diapers, to making him have a bath to massaging to making him sleep or just make him burp."

Jankee also shared the importance of the first 40-days after the birth of her baby boy. The star wife wrote, "For someone who’s always questioned everything, I finally now understand how important & crucial the first 40 days post partum are for both the mum and the baby to settle in. There are some lessons that you’ll learn only when you do and with time. Until then, you just got to keep the FAITH."

On the occasion of Valentine's Day, Jankee had finally revealed her baby boy's unique name. On February 14, 2021, Jankee had posted a video on her Instagram handle. In the video, we could see Jankee donning a pastel-coloured dress, while Nakuul had opted for a casual ensemble. The duo was seen posing with a bunch of pastel-coloured balloons. Alongside it, Jankee had written a caption, wherein she had revealed her son's cute name story. It could be read as "Sufi. A name that we decided when I was 3 months pregnant for our to-be firstborn, irrespective of the gender. Sufi symbolises spirituality, art, philosophy, literature, soul, song and everything that we stand for. From the time you were born, you have filled up our lives and hearts with so much love & we just can’t get enough of you. Mamma & Dadaa love you. #myforevervalentine @babysufim."
