Nana Patekar Reveals Being Repulsed Of His Sick Son, 'People Would Think What Kind Of Son Nana Has'

Nana Patekar is one of the most talented actors in Bollywood, who over the years, has been a part of several movies, commercials, and plays. He was a rage back in the 90s, and even his personal life was a much-talked-about topic, especially his marriage with Neelkanti and his alleged affair with Manisha Koirala. In a recent interview with Lallantop, Nana opened up about his personal life and kids.

Nana Patekar reveals he felt disgusted by his sick son

Nana recently sat for an interview with Lallantop, where he revealed that his eldest son was specially-abled and was sick since birth. He had problems with his eyes, and Nana, as a father, felt disgusted over it. He kept on thinking about what people would think about him as what kind of son he birthed. In Nana's words:

"My eldest son was sick since birth. He had some complications. He had trouble in one eye, it wasn't visible. I felt so disgusted that when I saw him, I thought about what people would think, what kind of son Nana has."

Nana added that he turned selfish and did not think of his son's pain but only thought of his image. His son's name was Durvasa, and the toddler unfortunately passed away at the age of 2 and a half. Nana felt bad after his son's death, but he understood that a lot of things in life aren't in his control. Nana further added:

"I didn't think about what he felt or how he felt. I only thought about what people would think about my son. His name was Durvasa. He spent two and a half years with us. But what can you do, some things happen in life."

Nana Patekar talked about the 'Me Too' allegation against him

Tanushree Dutta, back in 2018, accused Nana Patekar of sexually assaulting her. Talking about it, Nana added that he was not angry about the accusation as he knew it was all false. Explaining his thought process during that time, Nana said:

"I knew that it was all a lie. That's why I didn't get angry. When everything was a lie, why should I be angry? And all those things are old. They have happened. What can we talk about them? Everyone knew the truth. What could I say at that time when nothing like this happened? Suddenly, someone says that you did this, you did that. What would I have answered to all these things? Should I have said that I didn't do this? I know the truth that I didn't do anything."
