Recently, a few screengrabs were shared on the discussion platform, Reddit, which featured Nancy Tyagi's DM in the background. What was noteworthy was that a user had claimed in the comment section of that screengrab that Nancy often messages several brands and asks them for collaboration. Later, she either does not use their stuff or if she does, the influencer does not tag or give credit to those brands. While some users started calling Nancy Tyagi out, others stated that if these claims are true, then such a thing is totally unacceptable. On the other hand, other netizens started mentioning that although Nancy received much love for her Cannes outfits, her specialisation is to re-create famous ensembles. Nancy revealed that her father, who first didn't support her idea of making videos, was extremely happy with her Cannes debut, and he finally realised that people can achieve the utmost level of success even by making a video.

Moreover, one of her followers revealed that Nancy had paid Rs. 8 lakh to be a part of Cannes.
