Navjot Singh Sidhu's son, Karan Sidhu got hitched to the love of his life, Inayat Randhawa. Thus, the entire Sidhu and Randhawa family are on cloud nine. The newbie father-in-law couldn't stop his emotions from pouring out and announced the same by sharing some unmissable pictures from the same function. For the unversed, Navjot Sidhu has been married to Navjot Kaur since 1991, and they are blessed with two children, a son, Karan Sidhu and a daughter, Rabia Sidhu. And in June 2023, Karan got engaged to Inayat following a few traditional rituals to fulfil his mother's wish, who is undergoing cancer treatment.
On December 6, 2023, Karan Sidhu began his forever journey with Inayat Randhawa after getting hitched to each other in an intimate Anand Karaj ceremony. Thus, the cricketer-turned-politician was seen brimming with happiness and announced the same with a couple of photos. He took to his X handle and shared a few stunning photos along with a sweet caption, that read as: "Son’s Wedding Day….. 'Cup of Joy' !!" In the pictures, the entire Sidhu and Randhawa families were seen posing with the just-married couple, and Navjot's happiness to become a father-in-law was visible on his face.

For the wedding, Navjot's daughter-in-law, Inayat Randhawa opted for a blush pink lehenga that featured a broad border with scalloped detailings near the hemline and gotta work all over it. She teamed it with a shot kurta-style full-sleeved choli and a chadar dupatta with golden frills attached to the border. In addition, multi-coloured Kundan jewellery, including a neckpiece, matching earrings, a jhoomar, a maang teeka, bangles and golden kaleeras. On the other hand, Inayat's groom, Karan complemented her in a cream-hued sherwani paired with matching pants, a turban and a doshala. Altogether, they looked simply breathtaking during their Anand Karaj ceremony.

Earlier, on June 26, 2023, Navjot had taken to his Twitter handle and shared stunning pictures from his son, Karan Sidhu's traditional engagement ceremony with Inayat Randhawa. In the pictures, we can spot Navjot along with his wife, Navjot Kaur Sidhu, daughter, Rabia, son, Karan and then-would-be-daughter-in-law, Inayat Randhawa. They were seen performing the traditional rituals to seek blessing from the holy Ganges by offering fruits and flower garlands. They were also seen dipping in the sacred river to celebrate Durga Ashtami. Sharing the glimpses, Navjot penned a heartfelt note and mentioned that his son had exchanged promise rings with his fiancee to fulfil his mother's most cherished dreams. Navjot's caption could be read as:
“The son honours the most cherished desire of his beloved mother …. On this auspicious Durga-Ashtami day in the lap of Mother Ganges, a new beginning, introducing our would-be daughter-in-law Inayat Randhawa. They exchanged promise bands."

For the unversed, Navjot’s wife, Navjot Kaur was also an active member in the Indian political scenario. However, her career as a political leader came to a halt as she was diagnosed with Stage 2 invasive cancer in March 2023. But Navjot's family wasted no time making arrangements for the best treatment for her. Thus, she is currently undergoing cancer treatment, and in this journey, the cricketer-turned-politician became a pillar of strength for his wife. Proof of the same is often found. For instance, on June 25, 2023, the Congress leader shared a video of his wife while she was seen undergoing chemotherapy at a hospital. Sharing the video, Navjot wrote:
“Nothing is impossible for a resolute person……. her steely resolve has been facilitated by Dr. Rupinder Batra (Former Tata Memorial Oncologist) at Waryam Singh Hospital, Yamunanagar.”
