Navneet Nishan is a renowned actress, who has worked in a series of famous Bollywood films and iconic television shows. She is best known for her work in the daily soap, Tara and for timeless entertainers like Raja Hindustani, Hum Hai Rahi Pyar Ke, and Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani. Despite having no godfather in the entertainment industry, the way Navneet has managed to leave her mark on the audience is noteworthy. Navneet Nishan played the character of 'Maya' in Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke, and during a sequence in the film, she was supposed to kiss Aamir Khan on the cheeks. In an old interview with a publication, Navneet shared that she kissed Aamir on the cheeks in a scene in the film which was shot after their engagement scene. However, the scene was deleted from the film, but the mark of lipstick remained on Aamir's cheeks, so he decided to follow the continuity.
Aamir Khan told his co-star, Navneet Nishan to kiss him on the cheeks before every scene of that particular sequence in order to keep the continuity flowing. Recalling the incident, Navneet admitted that she was also comfortable kissing Aamir on the cheeks. Not only this, she also revealed that when she went back home and told everyone about it by saying, "Meri toh lottery nikal gayi."
Talking about Navneet Nishan's marriage story, she tied the knot with an Indo-American guy in San Francisco. As per a report in Dainik Bhaskar, Navneet got married back in 2001. However, as per other reports, the couple parted ways within the first year of their marriage due to some irreconcilable issues. If the reports and gossipmongers are to be believed, she is currently living without a partner and enjoying her life as she is getting a lot of good roles. She grabbed a lot of headlines when she appeared in Rocky Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.
