Born to industrialist, Nikhil Nanda and his wife, Shweta Bachchan Nanda, Navya has carved a name for herself with her talent. She attended the prestigious Sevenoaks school in London for her primary and secondary schooling.
After completing her schooling in London, Navya enrolled at Fordham University in New York, United States of America. At Fordham, she pursued Digital Technology and UX Design. Navya was an exceptional student and graduated with flying colours.

A few days back, Navya took to her IG handle and surprised everyone when she announced the news of securing a seat at the prestigious Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. Taking to her IG handle, Navya posted an array of pictures from the campus and penned a heartfelt note, which could be read as:
“Dreams do come true!!!!!! Home for the next 2 years... with the best people & faculty! BPGP MBA Class of 2026."
As soon as Navya announced her admission to IIM Ahmedabad, many social media users started questioning how she got her admission. Some even credited Navya's celebrity lineage as the criteria for qualifying and getting admitted into the MBA program.
However, an associate professor at IIM Ahmedabad, Promila Agarwal, addressed the ongoing murmurs regarding the legitimacy of Navya's admission. Taking to X, Promila clarified that Navya got a solid CV (curriculum vitae). Her post can be read as:
"She got a solid CV btw (by the way). You don't necessarily need CAT. Irrespective, hats off to everyone for being courageous enough to sign up for a rigorous program. PS: Just like other students, looking forward to her posts cribbing abt hard life at IIM-A."
Just like her father, Nikhil Nanda, Navya stepped into the business world and co-founded a healthcare portal, Aara Health, a non-profit organisation. Sometime back, Navya shared glimpses of her NGO’s first period-positive home, inaugurated in Gadchiroli. Sharing the pictures, Navya talked about the taboo around menstruation and how her NGO built homes to stop the banishment of women during their periods.
She is also an entrepreneur and runs her own Non-Profit Organisation, Project Naveli. Not only this, but Navya Naveli Nanda is also actively involved in her father's family business. A few days back, Navya shared pictures with her father, Nikhil Nanda, as the two of them toured together to look over the agricultural unit of their family business, the Escorts Group.
Navya Nanda shared that she started her own business at the age of 21. She expressed the sense of pride she felt in being the first woman in her family to take the lead in the family business. In her interview with the Vogue, Navya said:
“I would be the fourth generation of the family taking the lead—and the first woman. It is a great sense of pride for me to be carrying forward this incredible legacy left behind by my great-grandfather HP Nanda.”
In an earlier interview on CNBC TV 18’s show, Kiska Brand Bajega, Navya Nanda opened up about why she selected business as her career over moving into films. Speaking about her experience while growing up in a business family, Navya shared:
“I’ve grown up in Delhi, I grew up around my father and my grandfather who are businessmen and industrialists. I think for me that’s what I saw more of growing up as a kid. I wasn’t around sets or films and glamour growing up. It was very much stock markets and my father coming back and talking to me about tractors, which is what we do. That for me is where the passion lies.”
Well, Navya Naveli Nanda is making waves by choosing her own path and carving her own identity. Her outstanding educational background has only added stars to her professional achievements.
