Navya Naveli Nanda is Shweta Bachchan's daughter and Amitabh Bachchan's granddaughter. The young diva has not only made a name for herself but also brought pride to her family in both the entertainment and entrepreneurship industry. Despite not being a part of showbiz, Navya has amassed a large fanbase, and her podcast, What The Hell Navya? It has been a hit with two successful seasons. Navya is following in her father, Nikhil Nanda's footsteps and has joined her family business. Recently, the youngster added yet another feather to her cap as she got admission in the prestigious IIM Ahmedabad in an MBA course.
Navya Naveli Nanda recently sat for an interview with the India Today Mumbai Conclave 2024, during which she revealed that she doesn't want to be an actor. She added that this decision is completely her choice, as her entire maternal family, including her brother, Agastya Nanda and grandparents, are active in the entertainment industry. In Navya's words:
“Irrespective of the background I come from, this is what I always wanted to do. I am grateful for all the opportunity that is my reality today. That is not the reality for many people in India. I never wanted to act.”
Navya added that she never wanted to act in films and has always wanted to be an entrepreneur. She is grateful for all the opportunities she got all along in her career, but business is something that has always interested her and unlike many people in India, she never wanted to join films.
In the same concave, Navya Naveli Nanda talked about how she dealt with hate and mockery that she received after enrolling in IIM Ahmedabad. She expressed gratitude for being part of IIM Ahmedabad and studying from the finest professors in the world. Navya added that she does not take any offence to what people say online. She added that coming from a privileged background, she had opportunities that others did not have. However, she only focuses on taking the feedback and bettering herself as an Indian, a person, and an entrepreneur. She was quoted as saying:
"I don't actually take offence to what people say. I actually come from lived reality. It’s essential for me to look at feedback; it will only make me a better person, a better entrepreneur, and a better Indian. I accept that I come from a very different lived reality. People will have something to say about that. However, I remain focused on her goals and ambitions. I don’t give a lot of thought to what people say negatively; I use it to do the best I can do in my journey."
Navya Nanda is rarely seen answering back trolls, but this time around, she was not happy with the number of questions she got after her admission in IIM. The star kid took to her IG stories and shared a picture of her cutting a cake and celebrating her IIM acceptance. She cited the person who coached her to crack the entrance and made it clear that she got into IIM through sheer hard work and perseverance.
