Popular Bollywood actor, Nawazuddin Siddiqui holds a huge fanbase out there because of the kind of person he is in real life. In many interviews, we had heard him talking about his family, wife, and kids with so much humbleness and happiness. That is why the news of Nawaz's divorce had come like a massive shock to his fans last year. Hearing the claims and accusations from his wife, Aaliya, who had changed her name and religion just to be with him, had left people scratching their heads in confusion and shock. However, it wasn't just about the divorce but more about the allegations Aaliya had put on her estranged husband, Nawazuddin Siddiqui. From accusing Nawazuddin of not taking care of her emotionally and supporting her to revealing that his mother, brother, and sisters had tortured her for years, the accusations were way too dark to be associated with such an incredibly talented and humble actor. However, after some months, Nawaz's estranged wife, Aaliya, withdrew her divorce statement and is ready for reconciliation. Now, her brother-in-law, Shamas Siddiqui has revealed whether his brother will take a step forward towards her or not.

In an interview with ETimes, Bollywood actor, Nawazuddin Siddiqui's brother, Shamas Siddiqui reacted to his brother's estranged wife, Aaliya's decision to withdraw her divorce statement and to have a reconciliation with Nawazuddin and his family. He said, "I read the news, and I want to speak. I want to say that Nawaz and Aaliya's kids (Shora and her younger brother Yaani) should get their rightful share of love from both their parents." Shamas also added that he doesn't want his issues with his sister-in-law, Aaliya to become a barrier. He added, "My issues should not come in their way. I have separate and different issues with Aaliya. I had put money in her film project, and the matter is in Court. I will take the next step only after I consult my lawyers Mr Deepesh Mehta and Mr Kaushal Thakkar."
Going further in his conversation, Shamas Siddiqui also revealed whether his brother, Nawazuddin Siddiqui will take a step towards his wife, Aaliya and will accept her offer of reconciliation or not. The doting brother said, "Nawaz ek acha insaan hai. His speciality is that he never leaves anybody in the lurch." Shamas also stated that he would do everything in his power to give his brother, Nawaz's kids, Shora and Yaani to have an equal amount of love from both of their parents. He added, "I love these two kids very much. I can do anything for them. They too love me a lot and everyone (in the family) knows this. Nawaz bhai is the head of the family and whatever is good and right for him will be good and right for us too." For the uninitiated, in an interview with ABP News, Aaliya, a.k.a, Anjana Kishore Pandey had stated that she was battling with COVID-19, and it was none other than her husband, Nawaz, who had taken care of her and their kids. The estranged wife had also stated that she's impressed with all these big changes in Nawaz's personality and is the reason why she wants to have a fresh start with Nawaz. She had said, "Despite being extremely busy, Nawaz is taking good care of both our children including their education and other needs. Not only this, he often calls me and enquires about my health and needs. I am very impressed with this side of Nawaz and it touched my heart. Both me and Nawaz will try together to remove all the problems between us. Going forward, we will sort all the problems and misconceptions. We have been talking about this."
