Netflix just dropped the highly awaited trailer for the documentary on ‘Lady Superstar’, Nayanthara’s life story, Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairy Tale. The actress has been one of the most private celebrities in the film industry. But now, with her highly anticipated Netflix documentary, she's inviting fans to step into her world like never before.
With Netflix dropping the trailer just ahead of Nayanthara’s 40th birthday, it has already created a buzz online. The trailer gives us a peek into her life, her challenges, and the people who have supported her.

Nayanthara, who joined Instagram only last year to promote her Bollywood debut in Atlee's Jawan, has largely kept her personal life under wraps. This new documentary is giving us a rare glimpse into her personal life, and fans are quite excited about it. The actress, whom we’ve known for her bold on-screen persona, explained:
“I’ve shared so much of my life on screen, but this documentary is my gift to the fans, a chance to let them in on the chapters that shaped me. Creating this film has been a true labour of love, and I’m excited for them to see this side of my world. I want to thank my fans for being with me every step of the way; I hope it feels as personal to everyone as it does to me.”
Nayanthara's new documentary is going to be very personal. It will feature her family, friends, and even some of her co-stars like Taapsee Pannu, Rana Daggubati and Nagarjuna Akkineni. We'll get to see some candid moments from Rana, and Nagarjuna will talk about the tough times Nayanthara has been through.
Nayanthara married the love of her life and filmmaker, Vignesh Shivan back in 2022 in a dreamy marriage that left our jaws dropped. In the trailer, Vignesh was seen talking about his wife with admiration. He said:
“Nayanthara is my wife, my best friend, and someone I truly look up to. She’s faced every challenge head-on and has emerged stronger each time, embodying resilience in every sense. I’m really proud of her, and I’m excited for her fans to see the real her — the beautiful soul she is beyond the spotlight.”

Beyond the Fairy Tale will be Nayanthara’s way of giving back to her beloved fans for all the love and support they have showered on the actress all these years. This unfiltered documentary is all set to premiere on Netflix on November 18, 2024, on the occasion of her 40th birthday.
On her work front, Nayanthara is working on her next film, Dear Students, which is set to release in early 2025.
