Neena Gupta is a grandmother who is on cloud nine as her daughter, Masaba Gupta, along with her husband, Satyaddep Misra, welcomed a baby girl on October 11, 2024. Neena ensured to give time to her granddaughter from her busy schedule, and December 16, 2024, was no different. Neena was seen having a playful time with her granddaughter, and the video was cute and mushy.
Neena was seen wearing a blue shirt and was in a playful mood with her granddaughter, who was wrapped in a green cloth. The grandmother asked her granddaughter if she would give her the OTP once she grows up. The infant's mom, Masaba, was seen going into the kitchen and was casually dressed in a white shirt and black jeans. Neena could be seen cradling the little one and said:
"Tu bhi OTP dia karegi jab badi hoh jaegi? Bukuli OTP degi?"
Fans were aww-ed by the video. One wrote, "What a gangster Neena (nani) ji is!" Another called the video cute and called Neena Ji the best. A third user said, "Pura card hi dedegi bitiya." "Maybe Neena wanted to tell her granddaughter that after she grows up, she has to take care of her," referring subtly to OTP.

In an interview with NDTV, Neena revealed that her daughter, Masaba, always wished to have a girl. When Neena, became a grandmother, it was tough for her to process the information. In the words of Neena:
"Masaba wanted a girl. The first thing she said was 'Thank God'. She can use all my bags and jewellery. It's still sinking in. I don't know about becoming a grandmother but I know a new member has come. I am taking care of my daughter. I told Masaba,"You take care of your daughter, I'll take care of you."
After Masaba's little bundle of joy arrived, Neena shared a cute picture of her grandchild. She was seen holding the baby girl in her arms, and in her caption, she proudly wrote, "Meri beti ki beti—Rab rakha (My daughter's daughter. May God protect us)." The comments section was filled with lovey-dovey messages congratulating Neena Ji.

Masaba, who married Aditi Rao Hydari's ex-husband, Satyadeep Misra, took to her social media handle to share a joint post showcasing the little feet of her newborn girl. Her post read, "Our very special little girl arrived on a very special day." In the post, she mentioned the date, which was October 11, 2024. It was on April 18, 2024, that Masaba and Satyadeep announced on social media that they were expecting a little bundle of joy. She captioned the post:
"In other news - Two little feet are on their way to us! Please send love, blessings and banana chips (plain salted ONLY) #babyonboard #mom&dad."
