Masaba Gupta began her journey into motherhood just this year. Yes, the ace designer and her husband, Satyadeep Misra, welcomed their baby girl, whose name has not yet been revealed, on October 11, 2024. As Masaba adjusts to her new role, her own mother, Neena Gupta, is standing by her like a rock. Recently, the new mommy opened up on the valuable advice Neena had shared with her in relation to motherhood and ' nari shakti .'
Masaba Gupta is known to often feature videos of her and her darling mum, Neena Gupta 's candid conversations on social media. Well, recently, she took to her Instagram handle with a post of her wise mother sharing her valuable advice on motherhood. The clip begins with Masaba asking Neena:
"Mom, what is that one line that you keep telling me when I cry for no reason?"
Well, Neena's heartfelt response left many moved. The new grandmother narrated an incident from when Masaba was still an infant, which was a small snippet of the challenges she faced while raising her daughter as a single mother.
Neena said that she had been having a splitting headache, but she needed to feed Masaba. As she did so, tears started rolling down her face due to the intense pain, and at that moment, she remembered a famous line by the Hindi poet, Maithili Sharan Gupt, which goes:
"This is your story, woman, milk in the lap and water in the eyes."
Masaba Gupta is then heard asking her mum what the line means. Well, Neena's explanation of the line doubles as valuable advice and strong encouragement for Masaba Gupta and all mothers, new or old. Neena said:

"In a nutshell, it means the strength of a woman, that no matter what difficulty she goes through, she is a nurturer. And she can do anything."

Masaba Gupta recently completed 40 days of postpartum, a critical period for new mothers. Well, her wholesome update left fans breathing a sigh of relief. Masaba took to her Instagram story with a mirror selfie in which she donned a casual black lounge t-shirt and bottoms set. Masaba's post included a penned note that updated fans on her conditioning, wherein she mentioned that she had completed 40 days postpartum. She also cheekily wrote that she managed to do some skincare, followed by "Praise the lord."
Another story shared by the fashion designer gave fans a glimpse of her breakfast, which included oats, melon seeds, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds powder, dry, roasted couscous or poppy seeds powder boiled with almond milk. In this story, Masaba referred to her meal as her "breakfast porridge situation."
