Rubina Bajwa and Gurbaksh Chahal are in seventh heaven! The Punjabi actress recently shared the happy news of becoming a new mother with her hubby. This is their first child after marriage and fans are gushing over the beautiful family. The new parents welcomed their first child on the pious occasion of Gurupurab, and named him Gurbaksh 'Veer' Singh Chahal Jr. Gurupurab.

Rubina and Gurbaksh shared their son’s arrival on social media

On November 15, 2024, Rubina and Gurbaksh took to their Instagram handles to announce the arrival of their little boy. The post was a collage of the new parents holding their baby close to their arms. Rubina, in her hospital clothes, looked radiant despite just giving birth. Gurbaksh penned his post by saying:

“Today is the best day of our lives. On November 15th, 2024, @rubina.bajwa and I welcomed our baby boy, Gurbaksh “Veer” Singh Chahal, Jr., into this world. Words can’t capture the feelings we’re experiencing, but this moment has to be the most beautiful gift and blessing that God has given us. We’re so excited to begin this journey as first-time parents, cherishing every moment. Thank you all for your warm wishes in advance. And above all, thank you, Waheguru, for blessing us with a healthy son to carry on this legacy. #SatnamWaheguru”

Fans were elated at the couple’s announcement and showered their love, blessings and good wishes on their IG post. Rubina’s star friends filled the comments with heart emojis and congratulatory messages. 

Rubina announced her pregnancy earlier this year

Rubina and Gurbaksh made their official announcement in June 2024, sharing the upcoming arrival of their first child. In the Instagram post that Gurbaksh shared, Rubina looked pretty in a grey ribbed one-piece flaunting the cutest baby bump. The much-in-love husband wrote in the caption:

“2024 just became the year that changed everything. Rubina, my love - you’ve given me the greatest birthday gift I could ever imagine. As I turn another year older, I’m not just celebrating my birthday. I’m celebrating the start of our greatest adventure yet. Punjabi actress, Rubina Bajwa and entrepreneur-author-philanthropist, Gurbaksh Chahal tied the knot in Mexico, on October 26, 2022, after dating for three years. The couple’s marriage originally took place on January 7, 2022, but had to delay their wedding ceremony due to COVID-19 restrictions. Rubina was last seen on the silver screens in 2023 when she worked in the film, Buhe Bariyan.
