One of the most loved couples in Bollywood, Neetu Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor's love story is an inspiration to many. Though their mortal journey of togetherness ended in 2020 with Rishi's demise, however, their love story will be immortal forever. And the loving wife never misses a chance to remember her late husband on every special occasion of her life, and this never-ending love and dedication make us teary-eyed.
Earlier, in many interviews, Neetu Kapoor had revealed she was seeing a psychiatrist to deal with her depression after Rishi Kapoor's demise. However, finally, she coped with it and returned to her work. She is currently seen as a judge in the popular dance reality show, Dance Deewane Juniors, along with Nora Fatehi, and Marzi Pestonji and hosted by the popular actor, Karan Kundrra.

On June 9, 2022, the makers of Colours TV dropped a promo video of Dance Deewane Juniors' upcoming episode on their IG handle. The video begins with one of the contestant groups giving a mesmerising performance on the song, Parda Hai Parda, which was from one of late Rishi Kapoor and his wife, Neetu's duet dance in the film, Amar Akbar Anthony. Mesmerised by the performance, Neetu was seen reminiscing her old days when she used to groove with her darling hubby. On being requested by co-judge, Marzi Pestonji she was seen taking the stage, and gave an unmissable performance. She was also seen recalling the time while narrating an old incident. In her words:
“Rishi ji and I were at loggerheads at the time of this song’s shoot. We used to fight a lot with each other and had broken up at that time. It was a romantic song where I had to throw a rose but what was going in my mind was something else.”
Earlier, in an interview with News18, Neetu Kapoor was asked about the most challenging phase of her life when her husband had already left for the heavenly abode after a long battle with cancer. To this, the doting wife had revealed her depression and how her choice of returning to the sets had helped her. In addition, she had shared that keeping herself occupied with work had helped her enjoy her time. Mentioning working on the sets of her upcoming film, Jug Jugg Jeeyo, she had said:
"This whole phase of going back to work has helped me get out of depression. Working on Jug Jugg Jeeyo has been a cathartic experience. Apart from that I also did two reality shows which helped me come and interact with the audience. I am really enjoying my time."

April 30, 2022, had marked two years of Rishi Kapoor's death, and his loving wife, Neetu Kapoor had penned an emotional note remembering him. Posting a video from the sets of Dance Deewane Juniors, she had recalled stories about him with the pain in her eyes. Revealing how she had healed her heart after Rishi Kapoor's demise, Neetu had written:
"Today is two years since rishi ji left us… loosing a partner of 45 years was difficult n painful at that time the only way to heal my heart was to keep myself mentally occupied... Movie n television heldped me achieve that rishiji will always be remembered n will stay in everyone’s heart forever #dancedeewanejuniors."
For Neetu, his family and his millions of fans, the late Rishi Kapoor would always be immortal.
