Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor had walked hand-in-hand at Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Anand Ahuja’s wedding reception in May 2018, which initiated the speculations about them being in a relationship. Over the year, Alia and Ranbir’s relationship has evolved and now, reports were rife that they are planning to move in together!
Sometime back, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor were spotted heading out from a meeting, which was held at the office of TPA. TPA stands for Talati and Panthaky associated designers, which is a design and consultancy firm specialising in architecture, interior design and construction administration. This made Ralia (as fans fondly call them) fans wonder if the lovebirds are planning to buy a house and move in together. However, Alia clarified that it was for her office space and in the same context, was quoted by Bollywood Hungama, “Nothing of the sort. It is a place I’ve bought as my office space. Yes, I’ve started my own production house. I’ve named it Eternal Sunshine Productions. Do you like it?”
Later, gossip mill’s tittle-tattle suggested that Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s move-in decision will have to wait a little longer. The latest reports suggest that Ranbir is planning to move back to his parents’ house, once his father, Rishi Kapoor return from the US, where he is undergoing medical treatment. Alia Bhatt has always been vocal about her love for her all-time crush, Ranbir Kapoor. ‘Kehte hain agar kisi ko dil se chaho, to poori kainaat use tumse milane ki koshish mein lag jaati hai…’ this Om Shanti Om dialogue went perfectly with Alia as she finally got her ‘dream’ film with her ‘crush’, Ranbir. In a recent interview with Firstpost, revealing how she had pleaded Ayan Mukerji to cast her opposite Ranbir in his film, Brahmastra, Alia had stated, “The idea for Brahmastra was conceived long back when Ayan had just done Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. I wanted to work with him and I have always wanted to work with Ranbir as well. I pleaded to Ayan that please cast me with him.”
Alia Bhatt was the April cover girl for the Filmfare magazine, along with her best buddy and co-star, Varun Dhawan. In a candid chat with the Filmfare, her fans got to know about what’s happening inside the Kalank actress’s heart (read Ranbir Kapoor!). Alia and her beau, Ranbir Kapoor’s 2020 wedding conjectures are all over the news and internet! In similar lines, Alia was asked about her alleged roka with beau, Ranbir. To which, she had replied, “The only ‘Roka’ I’m going to is the restaurant in London. There’s no roka happening for me. And why are you putting a year to my marriage?”
Alia Bhatt was all-praises for her beau, Ranbir Kapoor and when asked how the experience is to tackle a person as ‘difficult’ as him, she had retorted, “He’s not difficult. He’s a gem. When I met him for the first time in my life. Again, let me tell you he’s not difficult. He’s a supremely simple person. He’s such a nice human being that I wish I was as good as him. As an actor, as a person, as everything. He’s way better a person than I am. And about getting married? Well, that’s the only thing that’s irritating right now. Every morning I wake up to the news that I’m getting married. I tell him what the hell. I guess he’s used to it.”
In a recent interview with the Firstpost, Alia Bhatt spoke at length about beau, Ranbir Kapoor’s talent and how he is just like her when it comes to acting, “With Ranbir, it is a completely different experience because I have always admired him. He is my favourite actor since he made his debut. He will always remain my favourite because he is so honest and effortless. When I set to work with him, I was thinking that I will understand his process of acting, but there’s no process. He is like me, he acts in front of the camera, and suddenly off camera, he is seen eating chocolates, or chatting, wanting to know what is the gossip for the day. He is very hard working, so effortless and that is the beauty.” (Also Read: Shloka Mehta, Newly-Wed Ambani Bahu, Steps Out In Her Floral Outfit For The First Time Post-Wedding)
