Neetu Kapoor Reveals How The Past Year Has Been Post Rishi Kapoor's Demise On His Death Anniversary

"End of our story" is how Neetu Kapoor had penned her eulogy on the demise of her husband, Rishi Kapoor in April 2020. Not a long note but just these four words had spoken volumes about her feelings on her husband's demise. A picture of Rishi Kapoor, holding a drink in his hand and flashing his brightest smile and the heartfelt caption had left everyone teary-eyed. In their married life of four decades, Neetu Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor faced many ups and downs but they had sailed through every challenge and even till his last breath, she had stood by his side as his strongest pillar of strength.

On January 22, 2021, Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor would have completed 41 years of their married life. Last year, in April 2020, Rishi Kapoor had left for the heavenly abode after losing his battle with leukaemia and post his demise, their children, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and Ranbir Kapoor are trying to fill his void in Neetu Kapoor's life. To mark what would have been her 41st wedding anniversary with Rishi Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor had posted a video, comprising their beautiful memories off-screen and on-screen. The video has the song, Hum Hain Is Pal Yahan from the film, Kisna: The Warrior Poet playing in the background and Mrs Kapoor had captioned the post as "Justtt. Would have been our 41 years today", followed by a heartbroken emoji.

On his first death anniversary, Neetu Kapoor posted a throwback picture from one of their wedding ceremonies and captioned it with a heartfelt note, which can be read as "All of last year has been of grief and sadness around the world for us maybe more as we lost him... Not a day has gone by when we have not discussed or reminisced him as he was an extension of our existence... sometimes his wise advice, his wise cracks, his anecdotes!! We have celebrated him all year with a smile on the lips as he will stay in our hearts forever, we have accepted life will never be the same without him!!! But life will go on.... #rishikapoor."

Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor's daughter, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni posted a then-and-now picture with her father, which proves that she was her daddy's little girl. In her heartfelt note, Riddhima wrote, "If only i could hear you call me mushk once more... "Until we meet again we think about you always, we talk about you still, you have never been forgotten, and you never will. We hold you close within our hearts and there you will remain, to walk and guide us through our lives, until we meet again." – Dorothy Mae Cavendish I love you always."

At the age of 18, Rishi Kapoor had made his acting debut in the Hindi film industry with Mera Naam Joker, directed and produced by his father, Raj Kapoor. December 18, 2020, had not only marked the completion of 50 years of the film, Mera Naam Joker, but also Rishi Kapoor’s five decades in the industry.
